The King James Version (KJV) was first published in 1611 and is an English translation of the bible for the Church of England. It remains a majestic example of the early 17th-century English language and acted as a driving force for the English-speaking world. It is of great value culturally, historically and linguistically. This version of the KJV is very reasonably priced and is a welcome edition to my library because of its value to the English-speaking world since the early 17th-century. Ordered the bible on Saturday night and recieved it at 10am Monday morning . The bible is wonderful and very well made , it is also very good value for the price. I look forward to , God willing having many years use of it . Thank you .

This was a gift for a good friend, our friend is a good Christian man who told us he didn't own a Bible. Even though I haven't read my old school Bible since I was at school, I'm now 68, home wouldn't feel right with out it. My friend is very pleased with the gift.
