The customer service at Homary is exceptional. Although true, as an architectural designer specializing in interiors, up to this point, this particular piece fell well below what I would find acceptable for furniture. up to this point, I have been very please with Homary. At this price point and experience, this purchase has left me extremely disappointed and compromised all future purchases with Homary despite the return policy. The laminate finish is not a standard laminate finish that I am accustomed to specifying. There were several misalignments, mislabels or non labeling of hardware questioning quality standards.

The “walnut” is light and almost grey/beige toned so it doesn’t go with other walnut furniture. And the black isn’t actually black- but a dark grey. If that’s okay with you, this table is great. Assembly was incredibly difficult with no clear instructions or labeling. Material is cheap particle board but incredibly heavy. It functions well, but doesn’t look that great due to the faux wood grain that is mismatched and drawers that don’t close all the way and constantly open when bumped. The lift top has no handle either, so is dangerous to operate, easily pinching or stubbing fingers. Overall it does what it is supposed to but I wish there was a little more attention to detail for something this expensive. I tried reaching out to support about these issues and have had no response. Way overpriced and not recommended.

The table is great and of good quality. Be aware that the instructions to assemble it are useless. I had to get a qualified joiner to put it together. It took him 3 hours and he said he has fitted kitchens that have been easier. Delivery is to the door (not inside) on a large wooden pallet that is left with you. The item was so heavy it had to be unpacked outside and each individual item carried inside.
I’m happy with it. It’s not wood, and and is a bit overpriced but it works for me. The instructions are hard to follow and I ended up cracking the studs on the double door end when assembling. I’m an industrial mechanic and it took thought to assemble.The vinyl wrap could be a bit nicer but I’m pretty happy with it overall Just like everything it has good points and a couple bad one but overall it ok..

I realize the shipping carrier is responsible for the condition the product arrives in, but it's Homary's responsibility to make it right if the product is damaged during shipping. One box was punctured so hard one piece was scratched and dented. I contacted Homary's support and they said a replacement part would take 6-9 WEEKS to arrive - which seems ridiculous! Am I to just have all these coffee table pieces strewn about my apartment for like 2 months? They then said my other option was to "fix it myself" and they'd give me a 10% refund. Also a ridiculous expectation. That's way too high of a price to be OK with for a defective product. They also at one point tried to offer Homary points, which made me laugh because this experience doesn't really make me want to purchase from them again...If you want to purchase from Homary, don't expect a speedy or satisfactory resolution if your product was damaged during shipping. The thing that bothers me is that they're aware of their supply chain issues and that it takes 6-9 weeks to address these cases - and they're just OK with that customer experience and they don't seem to want to improve it. Definitely shows what kind of company they are. Don't think I'll be purchasing from them again.
The table seems to be of good quality — it certainly features heavier materials than those that other furniture wholesalers use. It also seems to do everything the description promises. However, the instructions are impossible to decipher and are counterintuitive, so assembly is very difficult. I'm not a bad builder by any means, and this table took me about 7 hours to build because the instructions contained several errors.

The drawers when closed, aren't flush with the rest of the coffee table and stick out. Plus the instructions are horrible. There's very little detail in the pictures that contain the body pieces of the coffee table. A lot of the pieces have a lot of holes for connectors and screws and the drawings don't illustrate what the orientation of the piece. In addition, the stickers on each of the pieces labeling which piece is which were wrong! B4 and B5 were swapped and B11 and B18 were also swapped. A few days ago I received the order for this table. In general terms I think this table meets my needs acceptably. However, one of the main negative aspects of the table is that it becomes very uncomfortable to open and close the table.To open it, an enormous effort must be made to the point that you must use your fingertips to achieve it since there is no space on the top of the table to do so. Something similar must be done to close it.The designers of the table must add some slots to be able to perform the opening/closing maneuver of the table with ease.
It said assembly: fully. I thought that meant it came assembled. No. It means you have to assemble it yourself and all the holes are not predrilled. It’s pressed wood board and hard to assemble. I ordered it in May and thought it would come fully assembled. It arrived in October and I had to put it together. The design is unique and cool but it’s heavy to lift and the side cabinets only open when it’s lifted up. Oh and check your spam folder if you contact customer service.
