The easiest trimmer I've ever had to start. No more shoulder strain and causing long term injuries from my previous whipper-snippers. 4 stroke is definately the way to go. Don't have to worry about mixing the oil with the fuel and the extra weight of having is 4 stroke compared to a 2 stroke is negligible. The weight is balanced well so one arm does not get tired before the other. The angled shaft is great for not having to tilt it too far to get to the bottom of the overgrown grass. Tough line and easy dispension with the hard tap while spinning. All-round perfect small-job tough easy-start trimmer. I highly recommend this one.

Bought the bent shaft as the ergonomics suited me better but after 9 mins of moderate work it started struggling and would stall at idle. As per a small engine mechanic’s advise (never buy a bent shaft) I returned and paid the extra for the straight shaft model (same size motor= 25cc)… do yourself a favour after trying both from brand new on the same day, straight shaft has way more go because of the design.

Worked well except had to fiddleWith line a couple of times but got all my yard done. Only drawback was considering the price they could have given a shoulder strap cause it gets heavy after awhile I have a huge yard.

Best line trimmer I have every owned or used. These things are better than sliced bread. If you see a bad rating for this product it will be by individuals that would have trouble eating with a knife and fork.

This is a great whipper snipper.the only problem I had with it when first purchased was the cord wouldn't release when I bumped it. After we took the head of we found the cord was tangled. Has worked perfectly since. Excellent buy . Recommend . Starts easily for me

I bought this Whipper Snipper not long ago. One of the best Whippers Snippers I bought because it starts with one pull . You don’t have to worry about mixing the fuel with oil to make 2 stroke as it’s 4 stroke. Very easy to use and changing the line make be a bit confusing. You need to hold down on the head to release be able to change the cord/line . Look on YouTube if you’re struggling to change the line/cord .
Very happy with the Honda engine, always starts easy, but the line release getting jammed drives me mad and wastes a lot of time. I have a Ryobi unit which is so much easier to wind up, as you poke the line through with the head all intact and just spin the knob on the end. Obviously the Ryobi engine is not of Honda quality, but minus the headache of the line feed/winding issues, I prefer it.
I bought this trimmer 1/10/2020. It is the WORST bump head I have ever used. Stop and fix every 1/2 meter. Almost threw it in the bin within 10 mins of first use. However, the engine starts like dream, runs smooth and more quietly than a 2 stroke. If I can’t find a better replacement head, I will be returning it! I expected better from Honda
