Organic pepitas come from the inside of the pumpkin seed. Small and green in colour, they have a mild nutty flavour and are a good nutritious snack. Pumpkin seeds are high in protein, along with some valuable minerals such as magnesium, manganese, copper and iron. Like most seeds and nuts, they contain predominantly polyunsaturated fat and being a plant food contain no cholesterol.
