Safe worked great! Good instructions. Seems well made. Wish it was made in America but I could not find these dimensions made in America. I had always respected the Honeywell name so chose it over another you see a lot. I’m very happy with the safe and the mechanisms and the cable to secure it and the dimensions.

Within two months and very very few uses safe box will not lock back, started a return and will see how that goes? Also the directions to set up code are not exactly correct, I had to do steps in directions differently to get this safe to take a new code. 6110 model.

Overall it is kind of cheesy. If it is in fact steel, it is VERY light steel. I doubt it is very "fire resistant". Would probably be easy to smash.Also the programmable digital lock only has digits 1 to 5, and the code can only be 4 digits long.That being said, it does meet our needs for now, and at 10 pounds is easy to move.

The lockbox has two ways it can be opened. One is by using a personal passcode and the other is by using an emergency overide key to open the lockbox. Soon after I purchased this item, I started having trouble with the personal passcode. I had to enter the passcode 2 or three times before it would open. Then finally it stopped working so that the only way to open the lockbox is by using the emergency override key. Not a reliable product.
Really nice box. Well built, very spacious inside, easy to move with the handle. The electronic lock on my box works perfectly, not sure what some of the other reviewers were doing wrong. I am using it for important papers and docs. Really pleased
I like the product because of its sleek black design and tough exterior. I especially appreciate the foam lining the interior bottom of the box. The use of a security code and the backup key make the box very secure, and I am confident it will keep my son's laptop very safe. Although I understand that it was meant to accommodate even a large laptop, its size can be somewhat cumbersome for someone who's travelling with it, as my son is for college.
Perfect size for valuables like jewelry, passportd and even laptops/tablets. Seems durable and dual type lock provides options for opening. Easy to carry in case of emergencies
With the code or key, this will not stay locked. I have had this for less than 5 months. The knob turns to unlock regardless of the key in the locked position or if I purposely put in the code wrong. Nothing keeps it locked. This is worthless now. After researching the reviews of this item on other sites, this is somewhat of a common problem. Complete waste of money
This unit is not currently functional. I’ve had this for just about a month. Not even the backup key could open it. Had to resort to other means of securing valuables.
Within the first 4 months the keypad stopped working and the lock no longer turns. You can lock and unlock it without using a code, you just turn the knob. Definitely does not give us peace of mind since we have kids.
