Now I don't know if the delivery and installation company just doesn't know how to do their job OR if this product is so poorly made that it breaks in less than three uses but the long story short is that I have had a nonfunctioning treadmill since December 30th, 2021 and it is now February 9th, 2022. That is 42 days and counting.... with no date in site for when it will be fixed.Horizon said they would ship the parts in early February (why it takes a month to ship parts is beyond me) so that the treadmill could be repaired but I have not heard from anyone when these will be shipped. I have followed up twice .... radio silence on their end. So I basically have a $1200 unusable treadmill taking up valuable space in my house and no estimated time of when OR if it will be fixed.I wish that I had believed the online reviews that mentioned this happening and that I had gone with a different brand. If I could go back I would never have ordered this machine. In my opinion sending parts out to fix this machine is NOT enough it should have been replaced with a new machine and installed by an actual PROFESSIONAL that knew what they were doing. This is some of the WORST customer service that I have experienced. I will not be purchasing another one of these products in the future. I recommend you look elsewhere for a reliable treadmill.

We had the 7.0 AT Treadmill professionally assembled. Upon completion of assembly it did not start, the technician did not know how to trouble shoot. She left and told us to call the company. We waited another week to have another technician look at it, they quickly fixed it. However, after they fixed it they folded it up to store. When I went to use it shortly after it again would not start. I took the cover off the motor to find a wire had again been pulled out (assuming from the folding motion?). I fixed it. We paid for the assembly in advance, and were making payments on a piece of equipment we couldn't use. We do not dare fold the treadmill to store it for fear of bending/pulling the wire out again. Overall we are not pleased with this purchase.

The treadmill promises to be made for fitness apps yet has no functionality except for one specific app. It's also covered in "L" and "R" stickers that are meant to make assembly easier. Unfortunately, these stickers are placed in very visible places and are impossible to remove completely. It's also covered in huge stickers touting the treadmill's features, making this piece of equipment look very ugly and like it's meant to be on a showroom floor. Worst of all, the treadmill makes horrible creaking sounds and it's very difficult to get a heart rate reading. Customer service is difficult to reach and slow to respond.

Fine for a very basic machine
17 November 2022

I would say that the construction is good, the machine functions as it should. However, I was disappointed with the following: the bluetooth speakers are so quiet that my iPad is louder, so I use that instead; there is no easy way to change from miles to kilometers, and it resets itself every time you shut off the machine; I have never been able to set up the app or the users - it's basically like a gym machine, completely generic; none of the "workout" buttons work - nothing happens when they're pushed; the fan is very weak, like the speakers. If you don't need any of that, it's fine. I wish I hadn't bought it.

Good for the most part
30 June 2023

I've had this treadmill for probably 8 months now. I run on it a couple of times a week and do short walks on it 5-6 times a week. It's a nice looking, sturdy treadmill that is easy to operate. It has a good variety of pre-programmed runs. However, the fan blows into your chest rather than your face. Some may like this, but I don't because I don't feel the fan as much as I'd like. Also, the cup holder area isn't recessed, it's flat so my water bottle bounces around a fair amount. Finally, the treadmill changes speeds without me touching the buttons on the console or the quick dial controls. When it changes it's only by .1 or .2, but still, it's frustrating and potentially dangerous. For the most part it's a good treadmill. My complaints are minor, but I do wish I ... MoreI've had this treadmill for probably 8 months now. I run on it a couple of times a week and do short walks on it 5-6 times a week. Great as a treadmill, but app is weak
9 March 2023

We got this treadmill right before Xmas 2022. It's solidly built, and pretty easy to maintain and adjust. The controls are pretty simple to use, and really require no learning curve. It's very stable, and folds up so no one trips over it when not in use. Unfortunately it doesn't fold up fully, which would've been nice, but you can't have everything. The biggest issue is that the app is pretty useless. It doesn't seem to automatically export data, and doesn't provide any advantage over apps like Strava.Still, me, my wife, and daughter have really enjoyed it, and expect to get years of use.

Horizon 7.0 AT Treadmill - Strongly Recommend
6 April 2023

Bought this treadmill for winter/rainy day use in my basement. After a lot of research, landed on this brand/model and after 6 months couldn't be happier. App is not great but the treadmill is better than many gym treadmills I have used. Have this set up in front of a large TV in my basement and this helps me to run and walk for hours (I typically dislike running in almost ay form and get bored very quickly). Favorite features include dial incline/speed, easy button one-touch speed/incline, and overall layout and robust build of the treadmill. Would buy again every time, strongly recommend.

Review after 2 weeks
11 January 2023

This is a 2 week review. The treadmill is quiet, solid and very heavy. Assistance is needed to move and assemble. Assembly is fairly easy, the hardest part is routing the electrical cord through the right side tube. Once assembled, push as much of the electrical cord back down the right tube and pull out as much as you can at the bottom of the tube. Before using I would recommend slowly inclining the treadmill while checking the cord at the bottom as to make sure it does not become too tight when fully inclined. If you don’t do this there is a possibility that the cord may pull loose from the motor. Folding the treadmill is easy but it is a feature I won’t be using. The tablet holder is at a nice height but I wish it had a pull out, spring loaded at the top to secure a tablet a little better. While jogging or running a tablet will vibrate. A small storage pocket on the back side of the tablet holder would have been nice for cord storage. The left and right water bottle/storage holder would be better if they were a little deeper in design. Object tend to vibrate while jogging and could possibly vibrate off. The digital display is easy to see and there seems to be enough options for different types of training. I’ve only used manual mode so I can’t comment on the other mode. The fan is basically useless, I honestly don’t feel it. Shorter user might, I’m 5’9”. Bluetooth connectivity works well. The left and right arms with pulse rate grip and wheels for incline and speed changing would have been better if they were more horizontally designed. Accidentally touching/hitting these wheels are easily done which will change the speed or incline. A more horizontal design would probably prevent this from happening. The heart rate grips on the left and right arms are a bit uncomfortable for me to use, smaller user may not notice this. The negatives that I mentioned are not deal breakers but it would be a much nicer treadmill if these negative were addressed.

Solid treadmill with minor inconviences.
18 January 2022

So far I like the treadmill. Setup was easier then expected based on others comments. The only issue I have found is that the heart rate monitor (hand grip) seems to be fairly inaccurate and a bit sporadic.Additionally I really hate it when manufactures put stickers that are hard to remove in very visible places. There is a L and R sticker on the handles to tell me where to install them. After I completed the install I went to remove the stickers and found that they are hard to peel and leave a round white residue that I will have to use a chemical to remove without scratching or ruining the plastic it was on.The water bottle holders are large flat areas which is good for space, but anything I put there bounces around and doesn't stay still. It is quieter than all of my previous treadmills and the belt is comfortable enough that you can actually run a few minutes barefoot without discomfort. All the controls are easy to get to and feel like they are put in thoughtful places. If it lasts long with my heavy use I would give it 5 stars, but no way to know that for a few years still.

Worst treadmill I’ve ever used and even worse customer support
9 March 2023

I’m not sure how this company had gotten so many recommendations as the best budget treadmill because my god this is truly awful. The first treadmill I had delivered the wheel was completely bent inward from the frame and made an awful metallic clinking sound every time I used it. They replaced it (after two months of me repeatedly sending tickets to customer support with no response) and the treadmill they sent me makes the same awful clinking sound and periodically and at random will increase my pace by .1 which is not only annoying but dangerous. I’ve asked support for assistance with this new issue and yet again have heard nothing from them. You would be better off with literally any other treadmill I promise.
