Reminds me of most other classic or original style hot sauces. Great flavor with a burst of chili and a hint of maple. Vinegar does shine through. Very low heat level. Unique enough to be set apart from other sauces. Consistency is too thin for my liking. Overall a decent sauce but does not last long! Good on BLT’s and dipped with fries. Flavor is where this sauce shines.

I’ve been wanting to try out a Hot Ones Classic sauce, and I’m so glad I snagged one up from this season because it is absolutely delicious! Just the right balance of sweet and spicy. Loved it on everything I’ve tried it on so far. Not too spicy but the favor packs a punch! Tonight we enjoyed it on some catfish while jamming live Phish in the background to ring in the new year.

I got this one for me after hearing it described in the #1 spot on Hot Ones. As I've already mentioned, I LOVE that show! Anyway, I work overseas as a security contractor in Israel so I haven't tried it yet because I had the sauces delivered to my home address in San Diego. However, my fiancé has tried and raves about the flavor being a perfect balance of spicy and sweet. Which, by the way, is the flavor profile that is in my wheelhouse. I CAN NOT wait to try it when I get home. It will likely be gone by the time I get home, so I'll have to order another bottle just before I return.

It’s an okay sauce. Not quite as flavorful in regards to peppers as I had expected and not terribly spicy. It is fairly non offensive, though, which is good for the folks in the house that aren’t as enthusiastic about hot sauce as I am. The maple flavor is just enough that it doesn’t dominate anything you put it on, but doesn’t get lost. I put some on some scrambled eggs the other day and enjoyed it.
This one is my favorite as the flavor is that delicious maple flavor. It's actually a household favorite here and one I expect to purchase more of in the future.The heat is mild so no worries if you have folks in the home who aren't spice conisouirres. The flavor will keep them coming back for more while the mild heat won't push them away. Well done!
I'm not a spice person at all. I focus on flavor and what sauce can add to the meal. The chili maple has a pinch of spice. You notice it, but not enough to go "damn this hot!" Where this sauce shines is its amazing flavor! It's really addicting and enhances all my meals, from steak to chicken strips. Will be buying again!
Talk about tasty. Splash this on your wings and get that sweet and spicy combo. I bet fried chicken would pair beautifully with this mild, finger-licking nectar. It's not my favorite, simply due to preferring their Fresno blend. But it's a friendly addition to dishes begging for some sweet and heat.
It's honestly stupid how good this sauce is. It has enough kick to be interesting, but it's mild enough that you can just slather your food in it. It's savory enough to go on eggs but the sweetness and the maple lends itself really nicely to a pancakes and sausage breakfast. I don't do the hot sauce and ice cream thing but this would probably be at home on some ben and jerry's. This one gets the rare honor of "keep a spare in the pantry" previously only held by Los Calientes. If you haven't tried it, make space for it.
I've been a huge fan of The Classic lineup for a while now. The Garlic Fresno was my go to until this came out.Chili Maple is amazing. Not really hot, the sweetness is perfect and it goes great with a lot of different foods! Slap it on a slice of pizza, a breakfast sandwich or go with wings for, for better lack of a perfect term, a Classic experience.I ordered two more bottles because of just how good this sauce is. The combo of sweet maple, garlic and chilis is just great.Plus with how well off shipping is, it's a steal for how good it is, you gotta try it!
I was very curious about this sauce when I saw the flavor. "Chili maple"? Alright, let's see how this is. When I tasted it on some fried chicken, I was absolutely blown away by how much it complimented the chicken! The spice level is noticeable, but not too overbearing and the flavor is that perfect balance of sweet and tangy! I'll be picking this sauce up again in the future, that's for dang sure!
