I really like this flat iron because I can use it for straightening but also curling. I feel like there's a good range of temperatures to put it on that way you're not overdoing it with the heat. I also like that it passes through the hair without snagging it. I got really good results when I used it and it really kept my curls locked in for a while. I would seriously recommend a lot of the hot tools products because they are just that good. They aren't too expensive either.

Absolutely amazing!

I went through chemo last year, and now I have short, thick hair with insane chemo curls. After getting extensions (great lengths) I decided to upgrade my straightener. I previously used the conair pro but it was pulling and damaging both my hair and the extensions.This straightener works like a dream! This is literally the best straightener I have ever used. It heats up so quickly, does not pull your hair at all, and straightens so well. I have used the Chi ever since I began straightening my hair and of course they worked well especially on my curly hair but once I used this straightener I will never use anything else again. I just bough this straightener today and wow is an upgrade to my 6 year old straightener I had previously been using. It turns on super easily and heats up super fast (about 30 seconds or less). It also has a small screen to allow you to easily see the exact temperature it is set to. You can change the temperature with the barrel at the bottom of the straightener which is super simple and becuase it's not a button on the top it prevents you from accidentally changing the temperature at any time. I have hair that is on the straighter side (some ends cuve in and other parts of my hair like to go in many different directions), but I think this straightener would probably also work well for someone with wavier or curlier hair. The only thing I don't like about this straightener is that the mini screen on the straigthener will have the word off flashing when it's turned off and plugged in. The only way to make the flashing word to go away is if the device is unplugged which is a little annoying, but it's not really a problem with the device.

Ideal for different hair!

Bought this for my Mom. She recently beat cancer and has grown her hair back out but its very thin. She was worried about straighteners just making her hair look even more thin. She LOVES it. Shes able to curl her hair easily and straighten the bangs with one tool. I tried it out as well and i have thick curly hair with postpartum shortage... worked much better than my Paul Mitchell straightener! Really solved my problemWith having frizzy hair! Only annoying thing is the temp dial doesnt lock. But with time you learn not to touch the end of it.

Just meh

While the results are great (no snagging, smooth finish) the iron itself is super finnicky to use and then won't turn on after a month or so of using, which is extremely disappointing for the price. The temp control can't be locked and is a dial at the bottom instead of a button, so if your hand touches the dial when you're using it, the setting will change. The first one I had stopped heating up after a week of inconsistent use and I was able to return it for a new one. The second one stopped heating up after just over two months and I'm not anle to return it anymore so it's a no for me.

Absolutely LOVE this straightener. I bought it just a couple of weeks ago and its the best one ive had in all these past years. Better than CHI better than nano better than plugged. I dont know why i never bought it before. My old nano straightener broke down after 10yrs ao I decided to buy this one and i am loving it. Leaves my hair super soft shiny and doesnt get tangled. When i go to sleep i put my hair in a braid and when i wake up i take off the braid and maybe withing 30-40 mins my hair is back to being super straight. ♥️ its the BEST! Buy it now.

Nope. Sold out. I received gift cards for Christmas and originally went into the store for perfume, skin care, and shampoo and conditioner, which my luck, none of what I wanted was in stock. So off the the styling tools I went, I picked this up & carried it around with me for a while. I also stopped to look at the chi titanium winter collection irons that were on clearance. Almost put this one down and purchased that, but knew after the babyliss I wasn't really a fan of titanium. I purchased this and a few other items. As soon as I arrived home I pulled this out of the box to give it a try and it was LOVE at first use. I kept the temp lower than I normally would, and it did an amazing job at both straightening and curling my hair, it looked shiny and sleek and felt very soft!!!!! The edges are nice and rounded so it doesn't leave any creases when trying to wave or curl. I'm so amazed. I absolutely love this iron and definitely recommend it!!!!

love it! 4.5 years already and still going strong!

Bought this in 2020 during a gorgeous hair event and it is still going strong! Previously, I had a chi that had no temperature settings and it was noticeably frying my hair. I bought this because of the sale and wanted a flat iron with adjustable settings! I never need it above 300 and it's perfect for my hair! Super easy to straighten and curl but I will say the curls don't last as long as when I curl with my curling iron so something to keep in mind.I don't use it often maybe 1-2x a month if that! But it has lasted with no issues! Definitely recommend if you're thinking of a new flat iron!
