Tracks are fun and engaging, and the online works well with only minor hiccups with player created tracks sometimes not working 100% as intended.My only gripe comes from the way you acquire cars. You can’t save up in-game currency and buy a specific car outright. You have to buy blind boxes and hope you don’t end up with a duplicate of the same slow bus you’ve unboxed 4 times prior. A really unfortunate mark on what is otherwise, one of the best racers I’ve played in a while and what might be the best on PS5 at the time of release in 2021.

If you like Arcade style racing games, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised with this one. There hasn't been too many good Arcade Racers on Xbox recently. Cruisn' Blast recently released for Switch is Excellent, but my Xbox was feeling a little left out in the Arcade Racing Category. If you miss a jump, you'll most likely have to tap the Y button to respawn on the race track. This mechanic is pretty standard in most racing games, but if you miss a jump in this game it's almost automatic that you are going to have to restart the race. Missing jumps is often very costly & can be frustrating at times.- This game is probably a few updates away from realizing it's full potentialAs far as Arcade Racing Style Games go on the Xbox, I'd have to say that this is one of the better ones. It's not Forza Horizon, it's not Cruisn' Blast, but it definitely carves out it's own unique place somewhere in between in the Arcade Racing Genre.

This game is fun. The moment Snoopy on his doghouse passed me on my left, I thought this is cool as heck - I'm racing against the World War I Flying Ace. For the gameplay, one neat quirk is that when you are airborne (and trust me, you will be) you can actually control the way the nose of your car is pointed. Most racing games, when you leave the ground, you fly through the air with no control like you would in the real world. In this one, you can control if land with your nose down, chassis flat, or nose up. I highly recommend this game as one to add to your variety of racing games.

Bought this game because the trailer looked fun with lots of special and nostalgic movie and cartoon themed cars.The multiplayer is barebones and I couldn’t connect to do a single race.The environments are huge but static. The tracks and graphics are bland, even for a game based on toys. Races are monotonous.You can’t really crash but that’s bad because the game doesn’t reset you either if you go off map, you can be driving for a while before you realize it and press the reset button yourself.Every car is locked behind a ton of grinding and the drops are random.This should not have been a $50 title.

Okay, quick question. Who here enjoyed racing their Hot Wheels cars throughout their living room as a kid? Don't worry, I figure we all did. This game is essentially the same thing with your favorite cars. It is so much fun. It instantly brought me back to childhood. I ended up getting my brothers and my nephews addicted to this game. Just a good arcade racer to really take you back to your childhood.
I got this game for my grandsons and they love it! Both can play at the same time so there's no frustration of one having to wait for their turn unlike a lot of other games. The price was much less expensive on Walmart.com than other websites that I checked. I like everything that comes with this game. I highly recommend it! It's great for any age. It's easy enough for young children and super fun for older players, especially adults! It's worth every penny!!!
So this game is aimed at a younger audience and they out all the cool stuff behind not one but three pay walls. like the looney tunes okay give us $15 @ and you can race on their themed maps. Do you like batman? You can earn the it snd race thought Gotham if you're willing to spend another $15. This goes on to be the case for monster trucks too. What really feels like a kick in the pants is that the whole time when you're on regular levels all the cars you race against are the ones that are part of the dlc.

My 5-year-old son loves racing and everything the screams masculinity. I thought he would love this since he loves crazy Hot Wheels cars and has a ton of sets, but he really had a hard time getting into this game. I was hoping for a Mario Kart-esque experience, but it has an entire season system in it, etc. Totally unexpected. I think we simply need more time with this to fully understand everything we get with this title.
