Advertised as fast knockdown, but does not knockdown at all. Direct hit on flies at 30cm, and here I am 30 minutes later and it’s flying around like nothing happened. Stupidly I purchase this as it was a bit cheaper than the other brand (Mortien) with the same listed active ingredients. Learnt my lesson. But cheap, but twice. This stuff is rubbish.

If flies could laugh I’m sure they would be laughing at me trying to kill them with this spray. It simply does not work. I can spray directly at the fly and it just takes off and reappears again looking stronger than ever. You get what you pay for.

The spray isn’t fine enough so isn’t suspended in the air long enough for insects to fly into it. The mist then settles quickly onto any horizontal surface and leaves a damp residue
I brought 2 cans the otherday. And will never buy it again.I dont know why bunnings stocks this, this product does not kill insects.Spraying water at them would work more efficiently then using Hovex
