I recently purchased a K&N air filter and oil filter for my 2002 Pontiac Grand Am GT. I noticed great power increase as well as an improvement on fuel economy. After dyno tuning my Grand AM GT I found it was making 248 HP and 261 tq. The engine stock makes 190HP and 210 tq, and my only modifications are Bosch plus 4 spark plugs, 8mm wires and the K&N filter (as well as the tune). no doubt that the filter had a lot to do with it!! Thanks K&N for making a quality product I can trust. I am now putting your filters in my other cars as well. THANKS!!

One of the best oil filters you can buy retail. Combined with a good synthetic oil it should get you maximum benefit from synthetic engine oils. Have used these in a number of my cars and trucks over the years. Worth the few extra dollars you pay for these. My local Cdn Tire seems to keep a stock of these as well.

K&N makes quality products, but overall have the best oil filters on the market in my opinion and nothing beats the quality, even if it's a little more money then most filters out there you get nothing but the best filtering and and performance from your vehicle.Used on my 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan SXTOil Filter: HP-7026

Purchased this as part of a deal that Advance was offering - buy 5qts full-syn Valvolene and get a K&N filter. Purchased two of these deals for our cars, 2000 and 1999 Buick Century. Approximately two months after oil change, the filter on the 2000 loosened (was properly lubricated and installed to correct tightness). Approximately a month and a half after oil change, the filter loosened on the 1999. Purchased new filters and oil to do new oil change and no leaking. We've never used K&N filters in the past, and probably won't again after this happened to both our vehicles. Maybe we got faulty ones, but we'll stick with what we know.
I bought a K&N drop in Cold Air Intake filter and it has been running fantastic for me. So I decided to stay with K&N and but their pup filter.So far, I've had zero issues with it. There's no leakage in the driveway and I feel confident that my car will be taken care of with a trusted name like K&N.
A little pricey, purchased this filter when Mobil 1 filter was out of stock. Prefer Mobil 1 filters. This one has a convenient nut on the base of the filter for easy removal. This is what your paying extra for.
This is the only Oil Filter I'll ever use with Full Synthetic. Use with 5w 30 Valvoline Full Synthetic or Use with 10w 30 Valvoline Full Synthetic. 2/15/2022. I currently have a 2003 Chevy Impala LS with a 3800 V6. GM's Best V6 ever made. Would be nice to have a 3800 Series 3 V6.
K&N oil filters have a 99% efficiency rating! They’re made of high quality materials, and are rated for extended drain oil changes while using a Full Synthetic oil.
I recommend this filter because its above all other filters on the market. This is far above them in quality and durability. Plus the castellated wrench head makes it easy to handle and assists in making sure you have the filter installed tight enough which is better then relying on hand tight. Buy all your later model mustang parts from AMERICAN MUSCLE. Tech support is outstanding and has vast knowledge of all Shelby's and Mustangs. Thanks AM!!!
If you want a happy engine, use this one. The best when combined with synthetic oil. Much economical than putting the cheap one at half price then changing every 5k km. This oil filter can last 2 oil changes and engine still at its best performance.
