I was excited about the HP printer with smart tank. It was slow, very limited screen functionality and the ink rubbed right off glossy paper. The black ink was the worst i used on a glossy label. Everyone of the labels was rubbing right off.

The staff had to hunt hard to find the last one left in the store (in storage). Then I was amazed at how inexpensive the ink was. I have not had to insert in my printer so I cannot comment on that.

I really like the product no issues with that. The only question/doubt I do have is how do I get 6000 prints from one bottle. I don't think I get that many prints. I probable get half of that which is already a good deal but they do mention up to 6k pages. Other than that, very satisfied with the product. Works great... no complaints there.

We bought our first set of ink bottles for our HP printer which is 2 years old. They were in stock. We're happy with the low ink consumptions.
This ink is good and, thankfully, well packaged by manufacturer. The delivery by Hermes was appalling. The parcel which contained the ink and some socks, was thrown over my seven feet high back gate into my yard. Just as well the items were not breakable and it did not rain that day. John Lewis, why do you use Hermes? There are better delivery options. How about Royal Mail? With them it is possible to collect from the local parcel office if delivery is not possible. I am considering no longer buying from you because items may arrive damaged and your nearest store is now too far away for collection.
This stuff is AMAZING! I have never had ink look so good with just normal quality printing. Usually I have to turn the quality all the way up and I use to eat through ink cartridges just getting the same quality and color depth I get with this!!
The LD replacement ink arrived quickly in a sealed carton. First impression is very good on the quality of the ink. It goes on smooth, does not smudge, is vibrant, and is an exceptional value replacement to the OEM ink.
This is a game changer compared to old school ink cartridges! I have had my ink tank printer for almost a year and a half now and print OFTEN! Finally just now getting to about 20% full and picked this up for refilling when the time comes. A great price as well compared to the classic cartridge situation.
The printer is in my bedroom and is indispensable.It provides me proof of payment. Print outs of ads. It is very valuable to someone who is retired. It is my memory.
How can you review ink? Well, I guess you can't really, but I will say that the printer that uses this ink is fantastic (HP Smart Tank Plus 551). So by association, this ink is fantastic, too. After years of buying cartridges for my dum-dum Epson, this is great. You can buy the color that's running low and...that's it. No more having to lock into buying a 4 pack and having extra yellow. Do yourself a favor and buy one of these types of printers and you, too, will love this ink.
