We lost our charger for our laptop, so we brought a generic changer but after a year the cable failed. We have learnt our lesion, we have brought this genuine hp charger. It's compact, we don't get the "Use HP Charger Prompt", great for travel and cable is of much better quality.As usually PB tech were a great help.
