Monitor was working great for a while! But then I bought a stand for my laptop because my neck was angling wrong which caused me to have the need to adjust the monitor here and there (height and angle, which is literally what it’s made to do). Mind you, I Bought this back between Feb/March 2022 so it’s only been about 3.5-4 months and within the last 30 days it’s been glitching..turning off when I adjust the screen or if my foot ~barely~ touches the power cable. It also makes a sizzling sound when I jiggle it to make it work again. I emailed the seller because 1. I paid nearly $300 for this and it should not be glitching already and 2. Great secondary monitor for MacBook Pro. I use this as a reference monitor for Final Cut Pro and retouching images. Having a bigger screen is extremely helpful.

Excellent quality build not like those cheap plastic ones. The connection options are also a huge plus over the competition. Make sure you look for the connectivity and vertical adjustment options before you buy if you want a custom fit.
A great monitor. Sharp bright picture. Thin bezels. The stand lets me rotate, sviwel, tilt and pivot.
I have no major complaints. My issue was finding a monitor that is compatible with MacBook Pro (16" Catalina OS), as I found out the hard way that many monitors keep blinking due to incompatibility. This ViewSonic has been good from the start. It is ergonomic, which I require. It has weak speakers, so I have to either use headphones or unplug form the monitor when I need to hear important things. But that is irrelevant to my bigger need for ergonomics. For this price-point, you trade off a little. The color quality, easy pairing with the laptop, and all other features are good. I wish this were a smaller 19" to fit better with my home office limited space, but that's just not how things are made these days. It's better for my eyesight this way anyway.
For the money, these are the best monitors I have seen. The picture is clear and there is almost no bezel. Very nice for a multi-screen setup. I'm considering getting these to replace my home setup.
Working for a larger company of 5000+ and work in IT Asset Management, Hardware life cycle.. I would say half of the people use 2 monitors.. I order 30 monitors every couple weeks replacing older stuff. We have been purchasing the E24x family of monitors as a replacement to the Dell line we once purchased. About every 6 months we pull in other brands for testing and comparison and we continue to purchase the EliteDisplay E243, they have been very reliable, good features and look good on the desk. We use a lot of dual arms so weight is also a factor. Packaging is also good,, Overall very happy with this product.
Overall, I'm very happy with the new HP EliteDisplay E243. Easy to set up with lots of options to connect to it and cables as part of the unit. Great clear picture with height adjustment, title and swivel adjustments as well. My only issue is turning the screen from landscape mode to portrait mode. I've up loaded the software to enable portrait mode and followed directions ( not very clear) and still no luck in making this options function. More a nice to have since landscape is the main way I use the monitor.

If you are still on a 19-21" monitor or monitors at your desk, the extra screen real-estate alone will be an appreciated upgrade, as additional diagonal inches results in screen area increasing by the twice the increase in those inches. For example, a 23.8" monitor like this has about 35% more screen area than a 20.5" monitor! Conclusion: overall a great value for general-purpose business use
