I very rarely rate anything the absolute best. It's a good printer and the second one we have purchased - so it says something. The print quality is good and the cartridges are a fair price. The set up was reasonable - don't try and take any short cuts though, just follow the directions.

Looks nice and is a reasonable price, with some great features, but is one of the worst printers you could find. Would avoid at all costs! Set up is initially fairly straight forward, though loses connectivity constantly - and trying to reconnect is a nightmare. There's no display panel, so when errors occur you're literally blind. try to print something quickly - forget it! The printing / scanning quality are also poor. Just not happy with this one.

The HP Envy Pro 6430e Printer works really well. I have had it about six months now and I haven’t had one problem and I work hard at times and this printer never misses a beat and considering it’s price that’s amazing. So I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a printer.

Purchased this today to replace a dead Canon . I had a problem where wifi connected to my wi fi extender in garage , which is not ideal when modem is about 1 metre away . Had to ring support to reboot to factory ,as all the system lights were going off . It took a while , but it’s now working . Therefore , be careful .
This printer is not without issues. It loses connection constantly. The lack of a display of any sort is a nightmare to say the least. But it does have nice features. But at the end of the day, what good is a printer if you can't use it
I purchased this last Friday. Spent 3 hours trying to set up on Saturday. It is a very conveluted process. The "smart" software would not complete setup and would just hang. Took it back. No more HP for me. I've now read reviews on other current HP printers and it seems that my issue is quite common.
Bought this computer two months ago and have now replaced it as not user friendly. Everyone in the house had to download an ap to operate it. Disconnected often. Brought in tech support and they said they saw many issues with this model, mostly due to the separate ap. Would not recommend.
Initially the printer appeared okay however wireless connection to my PC (even with a fast range extender) is poor with no printer screen menu and a poor HP "Smart" app it's all guesswork. It won't connect by itself. Requires an initial failed print to wake the printer up every time. I understand that hardware might have been cheapened over the years but why is the HP "Smart" app so poor and worse than it was 10 years ago? If the 'fix' is simple, why doesn't HP make it simple to find? It was advertised with Subscription Ink when I bought it then on set up told me it wasn't available for this model. Is that not false and misleading advertising? I thought I'd give HP one more try but this is probably the end of our 30 year association!
This would have to be the worst printer I have ever bought - I guess thats what happens when you buy a cheap printer. Where to start - its forever in a strange state with the orange light flashing advising something is wrong; there is no interface to guide you on what the error is; to resolve it you constantly need to unplug the power and plug back in as there is no power button; To use it you need the smart app, and everyone who uses a computer and wants to access it must have a hp account (or re-use the one account - even taht was buggy); between different users on the same computer the status of the printer is often different - you can access the scanner as one user, but the app advises the other users that its not available. When looking for printers - you get what you pay for so if you can quickly move on from this printer - if you can find one that you can print from any machine just using drivers and not an app and site registration - choose that one.
Bought this one recently. CSR at JB Hi Fi was very friendly yet professional in explaining the features of the printer. CSR provided great customer service. Setting up the printer was bit tricky. But once set it up, does really great job. Very quick at performing the functions. I would strongly recommend this printer for home office use.
