Little trouble getting it to be recognized by new computer could be a little easier to start it up, try Scanner works great. Seems like it should be a little more intuitive. Two sided documents need to flip page for other side.

This laser printer works perfectly. It is fast and prints sharp pages. I will NEVER buy an ink jet printer again.
The M430F is a very good multi function printer for the most part. There are two items that need to be corrected: 1. When scanning a document. It is not possible to have the document assign a name in numerical sequence Like scan 001, Scan 002 etc. as in the M 426. This is an annoyance. I generally go to my scan folder and change the name to something that is more descriptive in any case. The other issue that I find annoying is that if I do not tell the system after a scan that I have finished, I then loose the document. Why can't the system automatically save the document that I scanned rather than deleting the document from memory. 3. The price of HP Toner is much to expensive; As presently priced, it cost $.025 per page. HP is trying to restrict aftermarket sellers from entering the market by requiring a chip to be read by the printer before it will function. Sounds to me as being anti competitive and a violation of the Federal Law.Otherwise, I am enjoying the use of the machine. I especially love the feature that when scanning a document of more than 50 pages that you can add the additional pages to the document by telling the machine and you then have a perfectly assemble document

I'm very pleased with B&H's service, I'm even pleased with HP support for their efforts but it took me about 4 hours on the phone and on chat to find out that the scanner cannot communicate with the computer. This is by design and not an error on anybody's part BUT also not stated and leaves me a bit disappointed. The only way to scan is via the printer's touch screen and transmitting to a USB dongle. You cannot scan via any HP software app such as Easy Scan or any other app that I use frequently with other scanners. Also, you have to manually select the DPI and file type options every time. Another disappointment is that the .tif files the scanner saves are corrupt and cause any and all apps to crash (including PhotoShop, Preview, Affinity Photo, Acrobat Pro). File options left to use are PDF and JPG. No PNG option.The document feed on the scanner is superb, scanning f/b. There is much to appreciate with this product but the scanning is mediocre. I suggest you plan to get a reliable flatbed scanner for hi-res or frequent scanning needs.Print quality (monochrome) is superb.
The product came and set up was effortless. Easy to use and going strong. Having gotten the printer for small enterprise and having to go through 1000 pages a week, the additional tray is a must and works flawlessly.
I love this printer. I print ALOT and have gone through a few printers. This is by far the best laser printer I’ve come across. Prints quick and good quality too.
Would've given it 5 stars, but HP decided to sell a new model printer without scanner drivers. Invested too many hours troubleshooting only for a service rep to find out that it doesn't have drivers. Only way to get scans out of it is to save to network folder. The PC plugin HP Smart doesn't see the scanner.
Solid printer, but a bit overpriced. Unfortunately HP doesn't offer much in a mid-tier price range, so for the money and for a small office setup, this machine is a good machine.
