The HP 150 all in one printer is an amazing product. Once its set up one cannot help to wonder how did HP managed to pack so much into such a tiny foot print and reasonable weight?--The printer worked flawlessly, at first the bluetooth connection to Mac OS was not working quite well, I downloaded the latest and most recent driver and other items and still it was not swift enough. Finally, I decided to connect a printer cable from the device to my MAC and repeated the download process with the cable connected and with this last effort, it has worked amazingly well with immediate connectivity. I've learned that shutting the lid of the printer before turning it OFF its not a wise idea---some of the parameters of connectivity get messed up and the next time you try to ... MoreThe HP 150 all in one printer is an amazing product. The print quality is superb and frankly one cannot complain about the speed of printing considering on how many WOW's---one gets when printing a document at a Starbuck's table, totally wirelessly and in color!!. You can have your favorite java and printer also.

Pros: Compact. Fits in business roller bag.Cons: Scanned about 5 documents and then scanner and copier stopped working.Got a message that there was a paper jam that needed to be removed (there wasn't).The touchscreen video was not helpful. When trying to print a document for a client during a business deal, the printer stopped working, and, not having enough time to reboot, ended up e-mailing to client.I imagine this weekend I am in for some time with the HP Support website and forum. Not looking forward to it.Other thoughts: The CNET review recommended considering the basic black and white compact printer instead. I should've listened.

Pros:Cons: Nal, Smal Memorynonfunctional, Small Memory Non FunctioOther thoughts: HP in general is downgrading, especially the material they use in the rollers is very cheap and stop functioning soon. But this is by far the most rediculous printer from HP. It's not wireless (only bluetooth), and it has a memory of a mouse, it keeps asking to be shut down, and keeps getting stuck (either paper in it or the memory). When there is no paper in it at all it keeps on asking to clear!!! For the price it is a disaster. I had one of the 470 but wireless stopped functioning and can not find the adapter for it and Don't know why HP doesn't carry it at all anymore! That was better than this one, but still it shouldn't stop functioning so fast. HP must get it's act together ... MorePros:Cons: Nal, Smal Memorynonfunctional, Small Memory Non FunctioOther thoughts: HP in general is downgrading, especially the material they use in the rollers is very cheap and stop functioning soon. I was looking for a printer/scanner that would do a decent job but not take up a lot of space and I could pack away eaisly. I have moved several times and lugging a full size printer around frankly gets old. I was also looking for one that would travel if need be. I do not do a lot of printing and certainly would not call myself a "power" user. I have an ocassional need to print and copy. I could have gotton a printer/scanner for a lot less $ but then I was back to something the size of a small orange crate that certainly would not fit in a suitcase or a drawer even. I am running Windows Vista.. The set up disk was designed for that and it set up quickly. I used a USB cable and had no issues. I am running Windows Vista.. The set up disk was designed for that and it set up quickly. I used a USB cable and had no issues. Wi-Fi would be nice but for my use I did not consider that a significant draw backand since the printer is small with only a 50 sheet capacity it is not exactlly a "remote" printing machine nor was it designed to be. After looking around I could not find another printer of this small a size that would both print AND scan. The ones I did find were a bit smaller but had no scanning ability and after adding a battery (which is included with this one) were more expensive. If you are looking for a small size printer/scanner that can travel if need be or pack away eaisly for storage this can't be beat. Print quality is solid in both color and BW. Scanning is easy and straight forward. Would highly recommend.
Perfect for traveling -- compact and light as far as printers / scanners / copiers go. Extremely pratical, since I'm not sure I have access to printers where I go, and I don't want the headache of loading others' printer drivers on my computer, or copying a document to a thumb drive to print it from another computer. Can be used with 110-220 electrical current, so can easily be used overseas. (just make sure to buy the adapter plug) It has only one sensor in the document feeder area, so it doesn't make it real easy to scan smaller items like receipts, but you can get around that by being creative. It doesn't have wifi, and It doesn't come with the printer cable that connects it with the computer, so make sure you buy one at the same time. My first printer was dropped and the carriage broken, so I had to buy another one right before my trip overseas. Ordered it online to pick up at Stapes. When I got to the store, the Staples guy bent over backwards to work through some issues to make sure I could have everything I needed before my trip. I even got a discount! I am very happy with this purchase! Scans, prints, copies as well as a non-portable printer. This was the only one of its kind that I found.
This printer is the best mobile printer that I ever had. I use to have the HP100 and a few others from the competitors but hands down this product is quality. The only issue that I had with this was the pairing code. I tried to pair it with my laptop computer and it took a few tries. It prints very well and is very durable. It prints very fast for an office-jet and the color is phenomenal. I use it wirelessly and I also use it with some devices with the cord. In the printers hardware it creates to different printers for that feature but one says BT meaning Bluetooth to distinguish which printer you are using at the time. All and all I am very satisfied and happy with this product.
I purchased this AIO to replace my very large Officejet 8600 Pro when it finally started giving me problems after 2.5 years of heavy use. I took the 8600 on the road with me a lot so I decided I needed something more portable. I thought this new Officejet 150 would be a good one to fill that need. However, HP left wifi out and the Bluetooth isn't compatible with the 20 iPads we use. But I never give up. There's always a way. I use this to scan, albeit slowly, my documents into PDF directly to a micro SD card in the slot. Then I take the micro SD card and put it into a wifi enabled Targus Cruzer Connect and transfer to my iPad. Works great! I tried to use the HP ePrint and AIO apps to no avail, even with the printer connected to my Airport Express via the USB sharing ... MoreI purchased this AIO to replace my very large Officejet 8600 Pro when it finally started giving me problems after 2.5 years of heavy use. However, I downloaded the Printer Pro app from Readdle in the Apple App Store and have had great success. I print perfectly with the 150 attached to my Airport Express. So I am printing and scanning to my iPads and iPhones. Don't let anyone discourage you, it can be done!
The excellence of this product is its small size and big capabilities. You can use it wirelessly through bluetooth (although I have been told that you cannot scan directly to your computer using Bluetooth. No big deal as it takes USB & SD media to save the scan on OR you can connect to your computer with a standard USB Printer cable). A fairly robust lithium-ion battery. I have done some printing, scanning, copying. Print is great. Scan...well it isn't a scanning plate, so the printer has to drag your original over a scanner millimeter by millimeter. If you don't have your original lined up well, your scan will not be perfect. HOWEVER, this is something to throw in your overnight bag, print in the taxi or camping (yeah, right). The expedience of its portable capabilities make up for the scan issues (which it does scan at 300 or 600dpi and looks pretty good). Scan speed is fairly slow on 600dpi. Power, no power, I could see even using it on a flight (in business class though unless you are only using the printer to scan or print documents to/from a stick. Add a laptop in coach and the guy beside you will be annoyed.). Aesthetically, it has the feel of older technology. The touch screen control is mechanical. I wouldn't doubt that a newer version of this will come out soon enough. Small size, great capabilities.
I purchased this just prior to traveling, and am stuck with it now I guess. But when this trip ends and I get on the plane, I think this printer will end up in the trash. Its not worth mailing or carrying in my luggage to destination.Had to call tech support to even get it installed (on USB not wireless)!!!To use it, be prepared to unplug it just about every time you use it. It will not wake up after going to sleep. I have sleep set as long as possible, couldn't find a "don't sleep'. The quality of printing, scanning & copying is only so-so. But that is kind of expected with this type of printer. When scanning you have to hover over it to feed multiple pages. And this isn't my first rodeo - I am not new to using computers and their peripherals. I don't think I will be buying any more HP printers for the office or home use.
this was a difficult purchase decision. while most printers are on the market for 6 months then get replaced by a better model, this hp doesn't, its been sitting on shelves for over 2 years and I decided to find out why. im a mobile notary so a portable printer is important. ive had the hp 100 and the canon. I didn't like the canon because ink is too pricey but regardless my 100 was outdated. the price for the 150s price was steep at 399 so when it went on sale for 299 I jumped on it. upgrades such as a digital screen, bigger battery, colo, and scanning for the same weight as the 100 it was impressive. I need a little more use out of it to determine dependability but being that its the only one like it on the market its a real must have. with bbys financing its not ... Morethis was a difficult purchase decision. while most printers are on the market for 6 months then get replaced by a better model, this hp doesn't, its been sitting on shelves for over 2 years and I decided to find out why. im a mobile notary so a portable printer is important. ive had the hp 100 and the canon. I used the rewards cash back from the purchase to buy ink for it. the only reason it didn't get 5 stars was because its delicate. I dropped it by accident and it was done. luckily I bought the extended warranty, gotta love geek squad. but be careful its made of a very gentle plastic casing that scratches easy as well. good luck!
