The size is very compact is great for travelers, and comes with enough I/O ports for monitors, ethernet, headset, and other USB peripherals. The cable connection to the laptop is very sturdy, but it is not removeable for travel, and the straight usb male plug forces the cord to make a long loop or bend to the docking station (more of a design element). The computer connection cable is long which makes it well suited for larger desks where it can be placed farther away and out of sight, but for a smaller desk like mine, I have it next to my laptop, and therefore can see all the cables connected to it, compared to my old docking station where the cables stretched behind my laptop monitor. This docking station is a perfect match for my machine and allows me to work from home with the same capabilities of the office without having to drag that one back and forth. Connect up to 3 monitors and Plenty of USB (a and c) ports

Every brand of laptop that I've thrown at this docking station has had above satisfactory results. The price is a bit steep and the ports seem to be restricted to 1 HDMI and 2 DP for multiple monitors but I've noticed that using adapters doesn't seem to make a difference and the output still works.

new and improved dock...works better than the original! They organized the new hub for better access and replaced the old plunger-type full top-plate on-off with a real button. No more accidental turning everything off by incidental touching the top of the unit. Now with an improved slimmer profile, and plug-and-play with no additional downloads or re-configurations.
A great dock especially if you have a USB-C enabled HP laptop. Compact in size and can turn on my HP with the power button without having to open the lid on my laptop. Was able to use the USB-C to USB -A adapter to run my older HP and Dell laptop, but no results on my MacBook pro late 2013 Model. It may work on a newer MacBook with USB-C.
Used with HP Envy 13. Connected to two monitors (FHD), Ethernet, webcam, scanner, wired mouse and unifying receiver for keyboard - fully working! Tried crystalmark disk test with sandisk extreme ssd and got over 450mb/s r/w. Works with all other USB-C capable pcs and macs. Cannot recommend enough.
Nice product for use with late model USB-C enabled laptops to bring a much more expandable home office experience.
Helped ease working from home (WFH) issues. Company provided me a laptop having only one USB port and a port for attaching a single monitor. This solved my problem of needing dual monitors and made WFH less of a bother. Works seamlessly.
This docking station has been useful for me to use with my microseoft surface 7. The only worry I have is the connecter cable for the PC, it sticks out with little maneuverability and I feel like if tested would bend to uncomfortable angles damaging the cable at the base of the body. Otherwise good.
