I was tired of loose connecting sockets on other power boards especially when plugging in 2 pin adaptors. No problem with this product. Press down and rotate when plugging in and it locks in nice and firmly. No arcing or plugs popping out. I'm buying another one.

I was tired of loose connecting sockets on other power boards especially when plugging in 2 pin adaptors. No problem with this product. Press down and rotate when plugging in and it locks in nice and firmly. No arcing or plugs popping out. I'm buying another one.
Safety measure to give that piece of mind
Safety covers fail and become detached from the board. This is not an isolated occurrence. Each of the three boards I purchased had the safety covers fail. What is more concerning is that a spring that keeps the cover closed also became detached and I found this sitting under the power plug. This is a serious safety issue as the spring can short across the plug pins. I do not recommend this product.
I bought a few HPM Child-safe powerboards. All have socket covers fell off or hard to turn in a couple of years.
