Besides, not sure if frequent on and off of heating element will shorten product lifetime.Other than that, 5* for seller responsiveness and quick delivery of the item as I communicated that we needed the item urgently.

Excellent choice for one or two

So glad I finally bought this product. 2 year warranty and low wattage were what I was after. It is a basic model with just timer and temperature dials. It cooks evenly and quickly. The drawer is a bit tricky but pulls out with a firm tug. Oils etc are drained into the main drawer which is non-stick and cleans up easily. The drawer insert holds enough for to 2 people but can be stacked with some foods like chips and sausages. For those of us on solar it seems to use less power than the oven. I find this to be a perfect introduction to air fryers. PS I didn't get a recipe of instruction book with mine and the only way to get that info is via a smartphone app which I don't have so I have had to get info from the internet.

Make cooking fun! This little gem is a time saver!

Not having used one before I have found it easy to use, quick cooking, and easy to clean. I cooked roast veg in oven and air fryer and it was amazing how much quicker and cruncher the air fryer veg was. There was no difference in taste of potatoes but pumpkin was the best I have ever had and the zucchini was perfect. This air fryer is perfect for one person meals or doing small batches them keep warm in the oven if catering for a larger group.I look forward to experimenting more. It is small enough to fit in the Kitchen cupboard but also pretty enough to keep out on the bench if you have enough space! It doesn't get hot like the oven so it has been great during the hot day. Potentially good product let down by poor design

I had two criteria for buying an airfryer - I wanted a compact one that would fit on the bench of my small kitchen. And I wanted it to be dishwasher proof. This Phillips one seemed to be the best choice. The airfryer itself works well but the timer is horrible. It's difficult to manipulate and hopelessly inaccurate, especially when trying to select low value times (ie less than 10 mins). This could have been so easily solved by making the timer digital. Would I buy this again? No. Would I recommend it to a friend? No.

I purchased this productas my wife and myself are now in early 80s and trying to make normal everyday tasks abit easier to carry out. We therefore ,after much research, that an Air cooker wouldbe simpler to use than a full size oven and easier to clean. The reality has been how ever that instructions are no wqhere full enough for us to use this machine for all our basic cooking requirements, i.e coking sausages only instructs cooking THIN sausages and we use the standard size ones. There is a so called APP that is available to greatly assist in using the air cooker. BUT we have no device to use with such an APP . So we are having to use be trial and a great deal of error. Timer Not Accurate

The ultimate goal in having an air fryer is that it makes for being super convenient and a healthy way to make a meal specially if you're pressed for time. No need to wait to pre heat an oven, having to add any fats or oils to your foods or use the many pots/pans and wash endless dishes. Choose the food you're cooking, place in the basket, set the temp and timer and you're all ready go.What I have noticed is the timer is NOT accurate though. It seems to take longer then it should. If I set it to 25 minutes to cook chicken thigh, that 25 minutes wound up being 30+ minutes. I'm not sure if it's a glitch or is it because you have to pull out the basket to either shake or turn over the food a couple of times during the cooking process. The temps and times used for cooking is only ideal if your basket is filled to the capacity line. Using anything less, you will have to monitor the cooking time as it will get done quicker then the recommended time. Also, if needing to turn off the timer manually, it is VERY HARD to turn back the dial to zero to turn off and the timer bell is not loud enough to alert you it's done.The numbers on the dials for the timer and temp setting are very hard to see. Very small to be able to set correctly the settings so you wound up cooking at a higher/lower temp then you intend as well as longer/shorter time period . I'm personally not fond of this particular unit and seems more work then it's suppose to be BUT for other, it might just suit them to a T.

thank you for f/up. The flyer is very noisy (i think it is the fan) and the wind flow seems very strong, and the flyer paper got burn easily [since day 1 of purchase]. My friend said her philip flyer is not like this! As it is not broken down, I didnt ask for return/ exchange. However, i would much appreciate if Philip can look into this.I was a philip supporter , and that is why I usually comfortable to get its products online. However, recently, I bought a philips cooker from lazada, it was faulty and had been returned. My experience with philips is that the overall quality of philips drop in recent years.
