I bought my first pair of SE215's back in about 2014. I was a freshman high school and saved my money for them. I loved them to death. They helped me travel, listen to music, IEM for worship sets. 7 years later, I gave them away to a friends. It did not take long for me to regret no having my SE215s anymore. I went ahead and finally bought a second pair last month! I have had AirPods Pro 1 and 2, and Sony WH1000XM3 NC headphones, but my Shures helped me experience my music for the first time all over again. I heard vocals and instruments that the other headsets could never convey!

Overall great earbuds. I like how I don't hear much from the outside while wearing them, this can be a pro or a con for some but I enjoy that especially when it comes to wearing them in the gym (with them in I can't hear the bad gym music that is bass boosted!). My only con with these earbuds is that they don't have much bass to them, but that's not what they're advertised for, they give you the true sound. It took a few minutes to get used to the wires wrapped around my ears but I learned to love it! They stay in and never fall out even if I snag them in the gym. I also am happy with the sizes of end caps that I normally have a hard time fitting but these are a 10/10 fit. Bonus: the shipping was lightning fast!

I've always liked the sound of Shure earphones. I have multiple pairs. I purchased these SE 215's to wear while physically active. Immediately discovered that the earphone cable was not 46" long, but maybe 43" long at the most. Much too short. Putting my DAP in my pocket resulted in the cable pulling on the earphones the whole time. I had to purchase a new, longer cable immediately so I could wear the earphones and keep them in my ears while active.Otherwise, I enjoy the sound. Just quite disappointed with the cable. I'd recommend the SE 215's with the caveat that you may have an issue with the cable Shure now supplies with the earphones.

This is my third set of SE215 earbuds. The first two sets were damaged from my own mistakes: A car ran over the first set, and my young kitten mutilated the second ones. I use them exclusively on my motorcycle both to protect my remaining hearing (worked in a metal shop in my youth) and to listen to music on my many long rides. The fact that I keep buying them speaks for itself. The sound is better than any less expensive earbud, including the direct competitors to the SE215, which either could not pull nearly enough volume or could not fit as well under my full-face helmet. They are tough enough to withstand heavy use.I appreciate the smaller size rubber and foam ear buds, but feel that for the price there should be several more sets included, even if it was a ... That said, I'm going to keep kittens away from this third set of SE215s, but if something happens to them I'm going to kick myself for not being careful and get another set.
The Shure se215s are an EXCELLENT option for any serious studio or stage monitoring work. I first used them nearly 15 years ago in a live setting with Shure's wireless in-ear system. I never really thought much of them except that they sounded pretty good and would mostly stay in with my thrashing around the stage. Recently I was looking for a pair of wired earbuds for monitoring while traveling and I was pretty sure a mixer/producer friend was using these. We spoke about them and he told me he starts all his serious mixing tasks on these. I trust his ears and how right was he about these. These are the most accurate monitoring devices I've ever used. The have detailed flat bass response with crystal clear frequency response throughout and they are very comfortable. ... I've completely stopped using my Audio Technica ATH-M50s because these sound so much better. I'm able to hear into the mix more in my own work and also just listening to a streaming service as well. These earbuds make listening to music fun. More fun than it used to be and I nearly always have music playing at home so I'm quite a music fanatic. The value on these earbuds is impeccable. Really they don't have any business being as good as they are and, as an added bonus for travel, they come with a carrying case pounce that also has a clip so I can clip it on my belt loop and not lose them. I hope to always have a pair of se215s. I'm a true believer.
I was extremely happy with the purchase of these in-ear monitors. I used them as headphones on a recent overseas trip. I was seated in the rear of the plane behind the engines. I used the ear monitors, and they provided excellent noise reduction. The sound was full and vibrant. I could easily hear the in-seat entertainment without any difficulty. They fit well and came with extra ear bud tips. They are quality built. My husband is a musician and only uses Shure monitors, so I thought I would give them a try. I could not be happier! #sweepstakes
I am a singer for a cover band and we recently made the switch to in ears to finally end the battle with stage sound with feedback from wedges. What a game changer! I bought these headphones to use with a shure wireless transmitter and have used them for several rehearsal and a few live performances. Great sound! I am impressed by the noise cancelling benefits as well! When securely placed in your ears, they block out majority of external sounds - I've found that I'm preferring to have one securely placed with the other slightly loose so I can hear a bit of our sound mix coming from the main speakers and the audience. Very easy to use and came with multiple plug attachments to fit a range of ear sizes. I found that the standard size works perfectly for me. Ive ... 4.5/5 This is my second pair (I had my first pair for almost 15 years). These earphones provide the most well rounded audio experience at a pretty affordable price. The sound is crisp and stays clean at higher octaves while also managing a nice resonant bass. The foam tips that actually come with the earphones are so comfortable and pliant that they create an almost noise cancelling effect. The only hardware issue I have is that the over-the-ear wire isn't very forgiving so I find that it slides towards my face because it wont stay in place. Also, I'm not sure if it's a connectivity issue with this specific pair I received, but when I'm listening to audiobooks, there's a blip of static in my right ear sometimes. So I have been using SE535's since 2011, replaced a few buds because of breaking stupidly myself over the years but no major issues other than a short or a bud just stops producing sound, which was fixed with a replacement cable.I got the SE215's for my son in December. He started experiencing the same short I have in the SE535's except his has been the earbuds themselves. We both have 3 spare cables to use if one stops working so it's an easy troubleshooting step to see if it is a cable issue vs bud side connection problem. The SE215's have been having issues within 40 days of ordering at the least.December order repair replacement historyreplaced right side 3/13/23 (started having issues mid Feb) received replacement end of MarchLeft side started having same ... So since within the 30 day return window they said for me to get an advanced exchange I'd just have to repurchase and they would refund the original April 11th..The third pair was ordered April 19th, received April 20th. Now, just 34 days in, there's an issue again. I believe that the connector construction quality on the SE215's is poor compared to the SE535's as I have never had these issues within a short time of ownership and my SE535's were used every day for years on-the-go and in static places (like desk related).I ordered a pair of SE535's for my son today 5/24/23. If I can't get a refund on the ones that I just ordered on the 19th of April with how much issues I've had over the past 5 months, I will be returning the SE535's and going to another company.
(Casually competitive pc gamer). I had been loosely looking to switch from headphones to earbuds for a while but couldn't find anything worthwhile. It wasn't until I found out a couple streamers that I watch happened to be wearing Shure ear buds. I hopped onto their website and decided to try out the SE215s after some research. After about a month of having them, I am glad I made the switch. The sound is just as good, if not better than the headphones I had. I really enjoy the noise cancelation. I can't hear anything outside of my own voice! I look forward to using them on the plane to see how powerful the noise cancelation really is!
