I am absolutely chuffed to bits with my airfryer. I have heard people raving about them, but thought I quite like cooking and am a bit 'old school' when it comes to enjoying baking. Sometimes several times. *winks*I have made a smorgasbord of healthy dishes with loads of veg, to a few cheeky ones in between. My favourite thus far is homemade chips! Still learning on an omelette & may or may not have made it a wee crispy. However, every day has been a school day with this air fyer and I have had a swell time learning. I'm saving energy at the same time too as it requires zero pre-heating. Which makes the hubby quite delighted as well. Because, electrician. My only complaint is I wish the plug was a wee larger, & a see through basket would be very useful. Are you listening Tefal? Have been using the air fryer for two weeks now and so far it’s been successful. I followed the instructions and simply pre programmed buttons to cook a chicken and it was ready exactly as mentioned and perfect.really useful for quick meals.Will use the product again in our household, I feel like this will be used at least twice weekly for convenience and energy saving.If trying to cook two things in it you can use the split grill section but for a family of four not sure if this is more time consuming. I tried this for stuffed chicken breast and frozen chips and had to use the pan as one section and the chips had to be reheated. But a learning curve.Overall this item is definitely very useful

I was really interested to try the air fryer because of all the hype around them not thinking I would agree but I have to say I agree with it! I’ve been really impressed by the Tefal XXL from my first use. My daughter is coeliac so I decided to keep it gluten free and it’s been amazing! I’ve made various recipes to test it and it’s passed with flying colours. KFC fakeaway was so easy and tasty, patatas bravas were lovely and crisp and roast chicken was moist and tasty. It’s easy to use for frozen foods like hash browns and oven chips for dirty fries we’re crisp rather than a bit greasy like they can be in an oven. The sync feature is handy as is the ability to wash it in the dishwasher. Having a small family of 3 it makes the perfect addition to meal times as it is quick and so easy to use. It’s a great size for my family and the functions are clear and easy to operate by touch screen buttons and a digital display. I am yet to branch out too much with recipes but using with frozen foods/baked potatoes/ veg etc, it cooks much more evenly than my conventional fan oven which I love. I am really excited to experiment with other recipes! It comes with an internal separator which is great for creating two separate spaces for different items. My only observation is that when i used the programmes for dual zone….ie chicken breast one side and aubergine the other, I found that the chicken was a little overcooked and dry whereas the aubergine were a little undercooked. Using it is Soo easy, takes such little time and effort! My children eat a lot of nuggets, fries, burgers and meatballs lately, and I am so happy that, at least, I am able to make them without using any oil. Plus it is effortless to clean, a big plus for me. I haven't used my electric oven since I received this, which is another huge plus for me, I really struggle to pay less for gas and electricity. I did hear before that some air fryers make tasteless food, but with this one, my food is way tastier than fried in a pan or in the oven! Everything is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, I can't believe is not cooked with oil or butter! Really really impressed with this air fryer, absolutely love it!
