I've got a 6 zone system and have Hunter sprinklers and love them. Other brands I've tried develope leaks quickly or don't last as long.
I learned about home sprinkler systems when I had to service mine. Hunter makes very good products and with the pop-up Pro-Spray you can't go wrong. I don't have any experience with the other manufacturers, but I have no reason not to stick with Hunter. Easy to plant, set, and water.
I guess it's ok. It's a sprinkler head...No big deal, I mean I needed a unit that was bigger/taller than the average 4" models, & this fit the bill. The only draw back is... the darn thing did NOT come with a head ! And none of this model do ! So be aware.The head was not expensive, less than $2.00. It is the principle of it. But at least this way I can simply pick & choose which head I want. Which pattern of spray, how far a spray I want, etc... But it does it's job.
I have used these for years. The only reason I have to change them is when they are broken by landscapers, not from a product defect.
Sprayed water over my fence into my neighbors yard. Evidently you have to buy a separate spray head for it.Salvaged the spray head off the old one I was replacing. Got soaking wet trying to set the spray direction. Not ACES fault. More the manufacturer.
Perfect replacement for the sprinkler head in my yard and was an exact match to what I already had. Bonus: It still is in stock and the same, even 10 years after my sprinklers were originally put in my yard.
The product received is excellentNow all I need is the sprinkler head. Can I buy them from Home Depot?
