I have no idea how it could happen inside the clamshell packaging, but the power cable was melted together in several places. When you seperate them the plastic covering on the cable is melted too close to the internal wiring. I was willing to accept it given they are here, but I wouldn't recommend this product because it could possisbly be dangerous.

I have eight leads all with different size plugs no problems with the different size's plugged in. It has worked very well I can turn everything off with just one switch.

Although I haven't been struck by lightning to test the surge capabilities, in all other aspects this is a great powerboard. The plugs push in nicely and are held in tightly to the sockets, and the included usb A power is a godsend for ancillaries powered only by usb, such as lights etc. Good addition to a pc desk.
I have power boards that look better and do the same job, but were cheaper to buy.
Great cable length, good spacing between plugs. Perfect to mount under the desk and not have to plug in extra power adapters for USB charging.
Waited a while to write a genuine review.Totally satisfied after experiencing unbelievable electrical storms with power surges and sudden power outages.
