I searched for old stock of that same 2017 design and found some on Ebay but after watching some reviews about the new Flex Straw Cap design, I gave in. And I am soooo happy that I upgraded to the new tech! I am very discouraged with my purchase of the Hydro Flask bottle as it does not keep drinks cold very long. Ice melts quickly. I have tried everything, making sure lid is secure and on tightly. I have put the water bottle in the fridge after filling it with water to try to keep it from turning warm after about an hour. I always fill it with cold water and ice.What am I doing wrong? It seems like for $40 plus dollars, the ice shouldn’t melt quickly and water shouldn’t be warm after an hour or so.I only use it for water.

My favorite thing ever! I never knew I could drink so much water and having a straw has helped me succeed in that. I use to have a hard time drinking just 32 oz of water a day and now I can easily down 64 oz. Wow improvement! So far I have noticed that it has not leaked once especially if you fully empty the straw meaning letting the extra water in the straw drain (it only takes a second). Finally I highly recommend this product and I wish they sponsored me...

It's the perfect size for a hike in the summer! My other flasks are just too small. I love the straw as it is easy for a quick drink, NEVER leaks, stays very cold and is well made (not flimsy). I love that although my drink is cold with ice, it doesn't feel chilly against my body (as other flasks do). This was a considered purchase for me as it is quite pricey. That said, I am so happy that I bought it!
This is my second bottle from this company. I do have another brand because of the better graphics designs offered. However I think HF keeps my beverages colder for longer. The only problem I have is that this new drink straw cap need work. It doesn't seal like the original one with he rubber tip. As soon as you flip it open , water pops out of that little air vent
Was very annoyed with myself when i got the wrong size. By the time i returned the oat color 32 oz the 40oz was gone :pensive:Can we bring back the lilac though? My current one is on its last life. I’m certain this is the best color!The size is too small if you’re like me and you don’t enjoy getting stuck places without water.
I absolutely love the new color grapefruit!! Had it personalized and it’s so great! Unfortunately I fell the first day I got it, due to having a bad back, and dinged it. I was so sad! Hopefully it’s not cracked!! But for me there’s no other drink bottle I will buy other than Hydro! They’re the best!
I just bought this and used it for the first time at the gym. I dish washed this before the first use and I secured the straw back on. I filled it up with water to use at the gym. When I flipped the spout up with my thumb numerous times at the gym, the spout spat out little water splashes in my face. This was while the thermos had mostly a full thermos of water. Not until I drank 1/4 of the water did the spitting from the spout stop. I opened the lid of the thermos to make sure the straw was still secured on. It was secured the whole time! I filled my thermos up a 2nd time and it did the spitting in face again every time I opened the spout to drink water! I find the flex straws not very effective when you have ice in the flask. I substituted the chug cap on this wide mouth flask, and it works better. I wish the boot of the flask would fit in the holder. I like the boot since the bottom of the flasks always get scratched and dented, but need to use the holder. I also wish all models came in the full range of colors. You should also be able to order any flask with any style cap as the base model. I have a collection of unused caps from mixing and matching.
day one I loved this water bottle. the wide mouth was perfect for getting ice straight from the fridge and it kept my water cold all day. however the other day I dropped it while at the gym and it dented easily. as someone who carries a water bottle everywhere, I was hoping this would survive normal wear and tear like my previous metal water bottles. I have others fallen down steps / on concrete and left unscathed. it still works properly, I’m just a bit bummed at the lack of durability
