I had been on the fence about buying a percussion massager for sometime. Finally bit the bullet, and man should I have done it sooner. This device has been a god send for my achey and stiff shoulders/back. It has a lot more power than I expected, first of all. Medium on most muscle groups is too intense, and I wasn't able to tolerate high for any length of time on any muscle group with any attached head. This might be different for those who are solid muscle, but I do consider myself to be fairly muscular. My wife stated that it was great at getting out some knots she had in her leg and glutes. Another comment is that the percussion on this is very strong at any intensity - extended use of the device made my hand a bit uncomfortable, but that is the nature of this device.The device itself comes in a fairly impressive package - including the massage gun itself, a small zipper case with the attachments, the charger, and a pamphlet holder about the size of a CD with a bunch of pamphlets within, including one that shows what muscle groups each tool head is designed to target - but strangely absent are overt operating instructions.This is where the app comes in. The app itself is simply OK. Finding operating instructions for the device required going a few menus deep, but to be honest you don't need a lot of operating instructions here. You turn it on and go.With that being said, the app does offer some massage routines and videos to show you how to perform these routines. I went through a couple of them, and though they were OK, I found myself more targeting muscles that I felt needed the attention at the time. The app does show some stats from Apple Health like steps, distance traveled throughout the day, and calories burned, but I'm not going to be using this app as a primary method of consuming that information. With that being said, the Bluetooth functionality on this device is really of limited use. It gets feedback on how long you've used the device, and the intensity can be adjusted by a preprogrammed routine or you can manually override it. In reality, with a device that has so few operational modes, I'd save the coin and opt for the model without Bluetooth. As of the feature set available right now, I don't see a whole lot of value in the Bluetooth functionality.If I had to ask for one improvement, it would be the inclusion of a travel case.Overall though - this device is definitely a win when it comes to massagers. Through the years I've had various devices that deliver some sort of massage experience, but nothing like this. I consider this to be more of a professional tool than a relaxation gimmick - though it does excel at relaxation as well!

Even better than I'd hoped for.

This specific massage gun was recommended to me by my physiotherapist who had undertaken a great deal of research before buying them for his practice. I have a condition which means I have many muscle strains and I have some muscle ache almost all of the time. This massager has been fabulous; it provides a level of relief that I wasn't even hoping for. In some instances it has been almost as beneficial as going for a physio session. I would highly recommend this massage gun. It can become a little heavy if used for long periods but I simply lie in a comfortable position and use a pillow to support the arm holding the gun.

Great Massage Gun For A Great Price!!

I’ve been contemplating buying a massage gun for the past year or so. Whether it be from a long day standing in my feet or soreness a day or two after a work out. I always felt as if a massage gun would be very beneficial for my overall well being. I’m a firm believer in getting what you pay for and I’m elated that I bought this massage gun. This massage gun gives the value that you pay for it and then some. I’ve used it on and off for the past two weeks and I see a noticeable difference from when I use it and when I don’t. If you’ve been thinking of buying this massage gun lately, I can attest this one is the real deal. Don’t wait like I did, it’s well worth the price and then some!

My physical therapy center uses this machine and Consumer Report gave it a good rating. I tried it, found it to be helpful, and just purchased it and used it on 12/4/2021. I then purchased one for a relative that is how much I liked it. I have only used the attachment that was attached (not yet tried the other attachments). The instructions should be better and there should be videos like other brands have on how to use the machine; plus, I am not sure how to remove the attachment since the instructions do not indicate; I will either ask my PT or call the help center. I did try and turn and pull, but to no avail (removed one star - lack of video and instructions on how to remove an attachment). Although it is reported at 2.5 pounds, it becomes tiring to hold. I like that when you are deciding the routine that you plan to have, in the same app, among all the available videos you can filter for the ones available to your particular device to be sure that is applicable to your technology.After that, you just really need to follow the actions in the video in front of you with your hand and the machine and the app do all the rest. This is awesome!Based on all the above I decided to rate it with four stars. The lack of one is because I think that I would like the app being able to have some more massage routines (I hope that some regular updates will add more) and I wish that the app is also available for android devices, currently is only available for IOs.I recommend it if you have an IOs device.

As time progresses, the app automatically increases the speed of the Hypervolt and then it lowers the speed back down gradually after some time. If you prefer to set the speed for the whole time, you can also manually set it during the routine on the app. You can also pause the exercise video on the app and the Hypervolt stops running until you resume it on your phone. It is so cool that the app can control this device and operate it along with the routines! It is easier to have the app controlling the speed rather than pressing the button in the app, and it is also nice that it times you and demonstrates what to do.I was really impressed with the Hyperice app. It looks like it was just released in the app store a week or two ago, so I was impressed at how well it functioned without issues and how well designed it was, especially since it is so new! The app really makes using this device even easier and more exciting and it takes the guesswork out of how and where to use it. It was so fun and easy using this device along with the app!Like I mentioned I earlier, I wasn’t sure what to expect with this product, but I am really impressed! It is simple to use, feels great, works great, and the app also works well, adds some useful features, and is beautifully designed! I would definitely recommend this to others!
