The Hyperice Hypervolt BT is exactly when you expect from the standard Hypervolt, but with the addition of a Bluetooth connection. You connect the hand massager to the Hyperice app and choose the routine you want to follow. This way, you are guided through the process from the warming up to the cooling down and you receive tips from physiotherapists and professional athletes. The intensity is automatically adjusted during the treatment, so you don't have to switch between the 3 settings yourself. The app also indicates which of the 5 attachments is the most effective. After use, you store the attachment in the special bag and charge the Hypervolt BT with the charging cable.

I had been on the fence about buying a percussion massager for sometime. Finally bit the bullet, and man should I have done it sooner. This device has been a god send for my achey and stiff shoulders/back. It has a lot more power than I expected, first of all. There are 3 levels of intensity, and the highest one will blow your mind, haha. It really helps loosen up those stubborn knots. I also like to use this on stiff calves and glutes. Some places you can’t reach on your own, so you will need someone to help you. The different attachments are great. I recommend warming up with the flat piece first and then move on to whatever attachment works best for your problem. For example, the ball is great on shoulders and lower back, the fork is good for forearms, the knob ... MoreI had been on the fence about buying a percussion massager for sometime. The squishy attachment is great for sensitive spots if you do not enjoy deep pressure. The battery charge lasts a while too. I can usually go 2 hours of total use before plugging it in. Its quick to charge as well. The device is a little noisy but nothing crazy. Box it comes in has storage departments. Highly recommend.

The Hypervolt Plus by Hyperice is a premium handheld percussive massage device. If you have sore muscles from working out, overexertion at work, or even working around the yard, I would seriously consider this device. It even works great for a "just because I need to relax" massage. At it's core, it's a "T" shaped device that weighs about 2.5 pounds. It has a head with interchangeable massage tools that target different muscle groups. The operation of the device is pretty straightforward - you charge the device with the included charger, attach the desired massage head, turn the switch on the bottom "on", and finally tap the speed selector on the back of the massage gun. There's three intensities, low, medium, and high. I consider myself to be a pretty tough person, and most of the time the low intensity setting delivers more than enough percussion to provide relief to my muscles. Medium on most muscle groups is too intense, and I wasn't able to tolerate high for any length of time on any muscle group with any attached head. This might be different for those who are solid muscle, but I do consider myself to be fairly muscular. My wife stated that it was great at getting out some knots she had in her leg and glutes. Another comment is that the percussion on this is very strong at any intensity - extended use of the device made my hand a bit uncomfortable, but that is the nature of this device. The device itself comes in a fairly impressive package - including the massage gun itself, a small zipper case with the attachments, the charger, and a pamphlet holder about the size of a CD with a bunch of pamphlets within, including one that shows what muscle groups each tool head is designed to target - but strangely absent are overt operating instructions. This is where the app comes in. The app itself is simply OK. Finding operating instructions for the device required going a few menus deep, but to be honest you don't need a lot of operating instructions here. You turn it on and go.With that being said, the app does offer some massage routines and videos to show you how to perform these routines. I went through a couple of them, and though they were OK, I found myself more targeting muscles that I felt needed the attention at the time. The app does show some stats from Apple Health like steps, distance traveled throughout the day, and calories burned, but I'm not going to be using this app as a primary method of consuming that information. With that being said, the Bluetooth functionality on this device is really of limited use. It gets feedback on how long you've used the device, and the intensity can be adjusted by a preprogrammed routine or you can manually override it. In reality, with a device that has so few operational modes, I'd save the coin and opt for the model without Bluetooth. As of the feature set available right now, I don't see a whole lot of value in the Bluetooth functionality. If I had to ask for one improvement, it would be the inclusion of a travel case.Overall though - this device is definitely a win when it comes to massagers. Through the years I've had various devices that deliver some sort of massage experience, but nothing like this. I consider this to be more of a professional tool than a relaxation gimmick - though it does excel at relaxation as well!

This specific massage gun was recommended to me by my physiotherapist who had undertaken a great deal of research before buying them for his practice. I have a condition which means I have many muscle strains and I have some muscle ache almost all of the time. This massager has been fabulous; it provides a level of relief that I wasn't even hoping for. In some instances it has been almost as beneficial as going for a physio session. I would highly recommend this massage gun. It can become a little heavy if used for long periods but I simply lie in a comfortable position and use a pillow to support the arm holding the gun.

Plus- very good for recovery/regeneration- price at the time of BF purchase- immediately available to use (compared e.g. to inflatable leg sleeves which I use too)- easy to handle and to replace the massage-heads (attachments)shall-be plus - bluetooth connection to app - not used so farMinus- only small bag for attachments, no travel bag included for the gun- initial charging approx. 6 hours, no experience so far how long the battery will last
I’ve been contemplating buying a massage gun for the past year or so. Whether it be from a long day standing in my feet or soreness a day or two after a work out. I always felt as if a massage gun would be very beneficial for my overall well being. I’m a firm believer in getting what you pay for and I’m elated that I bought this massage gun. This massage gun gives the value that you pay for it and then some. I’ve used it on and off for the past two weeks and I see a noticeable difference from when I use it and when I don’t. If you’ve been thinking of buying this massage gun lately, I can attest this one is the real deal. Don’t wait like I did, it’s well worth the price and then some!
My physical therapy center uses this machine and Consumer Report gave it a good rating. I tried it, found it to be helpful, and just purchased it and used it on 12/4/2021. I then purchased one for a relative that is how much I liked it. I have only used the attachment that was attached (not yet tried the other attachments). The instructions should be better and there should be videos like other brands have on how to use the machine; plus, I am not sure how to remove the attachment since the instructions do not indicate; I will either ask my PT or call the help center. I did try and turn and pull, but to no avail (removed one star - lack of video and instructions on how to remove an attachment). Although it is reported at 2.5 pounds, it becomes tiring to hold. It is expensive even with the sale price and using reward points, but I will know if it is a good value after I have used it for at least one year (removed 1 star - pricing high).
I think that percussion technology has been proven as successful over the last years and Hyperice is a reference in the sector with its Theragun. I can confirm that if you are visiting a physical therapist you can see the most practical example of medical endorsement because you probably will find one of those devices. In my case, as a regular runner and 50 y-o guy dealing with sore body and muscles, I always being attracted to this technology. By doing some research, you can see that the literature in the sector describes the Hypervolt as one of the best and the quietest one.One week of tests confirm several of my assumptions with this device that is my new favorite friend after a long run:1.- This is a powerful machine that delivers a super focus massage in ... MoreI think that percussion technology has been proven as successful over the last years and Hyperice is a reference in the sector with its Theragun. In my case, as a regular runner and 50 y-o guy dealing with sore body and muscles, I always being attracted to this technology. By doing some research, you can see that the literature in the sector describes the Hypervolt as one of the best and the quietest one.One week of tests confirm several of my assumptions with this device that is my new favorite friend after a long run:1.- This is a powerful machine that delivers a super focus massage in the targeted area. The fact that is so ergonomically well designed and so light makes all the difference. You can apply the massage in the right direction, I mean that the “impact” is being exactly directed in the desired muscle zone instead of having to deal with a rebound of your hand.2.- The five head attachments are key to determine the impact and the effect and complemented with the speed and intensity you could make the difference between a relaxing massage or a heavy-duty session over tight muscles. I personally appreciate the small carry bag to store the four heads that are not being in use.3.- A big battery that could keep for days of more than an hour session per day4.- Easy and quick to charge the battery.5.- Three speeds that control the power that you plan to deliver to your sore muscles.6.- Confirmed!, this is super quiet.7.- The app and the Bluetooth connectivity of this particular model require an especial mention. In my opinion, the big barrier in the past to invest in this device WAS the need for an educated understanding of how the massage should be correctly applied, what head to use and how the muscle should be “percutted” or your body position while you receive the massage. This version and the connectivity between the Hypervolt and your IOs device is basically bringing a private coach that visually explain how your hands should be moving to deliver the perfect work. The app, easy to download and configure connects directly (Bluetooth) with your Hypervolt and in function of the selected video, determine the speed and duration of the program when the play is launched. I like that when you are deciding the routine that you plan to have, in the same app, among all the available videos you can filter for the ones available to your particular device to be sure that is applicable to your technology. After that, you just really need to follow the actions in the video in front of you with your hand and the machine and the app do all the rest. This is awesome!Based on all the above I decided to rate it with four stars. The lack of one is because I think that I would like the app being able to have some more massage routines (I hope that some regular updates will add more) and I wish that the app is also available for android devices, currently is only available for IOs.I recommend it if you have an IOs device.
I really wasn’t sure what to expect with this product. It looked like a great way to address sore and tight muscles, so I was excited to try it! To start, I am not an athlete or someone who does a lot of regular exercise, so I can’t really comment on how it helps with recovering from workouts. That being said, I am sitting down at the computer often which strains my neck and causes my muscles to get tight. This product really surprised me. I did not expect how good the vibrations would feel as well as how they would loosen tight muscles and give a lighter feeling to areas that experience a lot of tension. As soon as I started using it, I immediately used it up in my neck and shoulder area. As soon as I started using it, I immediately used it up in my neck and shoulder area. I definitely think it helped to loosen up that area, and it really feels good using it in areas that can be sore and strained. I also used it on my legs and other areas and it felt great everywhere I tried it!This product is very simple and easy to use. The design is sleek and feels well-made. I had no trouble figuring out how to use it, just turn it on and then press the speed setting button to get it going. This device comes with 5 massage attachments, which will be great for using it in different applications. The app gives your more information on what specific situation each attachment works best for, which was also helpful. The routines I used in the app showed what attachment to use which made deciding on the right one super easy. Not only did this device surprise me, but the app did as well. I wasn’t sure how useful an app would be for a product like this, but it turned out that it has some really useful features! As I mentioned briefly before, they have several “routines” in the app and when you select one, it pairs your phone with the Hypervolt and starts up the device. The routines are really cool because you get to watch a video of someone demonstrating how to use the device in a specific place as the Hypervolt runs in sync at the same time. As time progresses, the app automatically increases the speed of the Hypervolt and then it lowers the speed back down gradually after some time. If you prefer to set the speed for the whole time, you can also manually set it during the routine on the app. You can also pause the exercise video on the app and the Hypervolt stops running until you resume it on your phone. It is so cool that the app can control this device and operate it along with the routines! It is easier to have the app controlling the speed rather than pressing the button in the app, and it is also nice that it times you and demonstrates what to do.I was really impressed with the Hyperice app. It looks like it was just released in the app store a week or two ago, so I was impressed at how well it functioned without issues and how well designed it was, especially since it is so new! The app really makes using this device even easier and more exciting and it takes the guesswork out of how and where to use it. It was so fun and easy using this device along with the app!Like I mentioned I earlier, I wasn’t sure what to expect with this product, but I am really impressed! It is simple to use, feels great, works great, and the app also works well, adds some useful features, and is beautifully designed! I would definitely recommend this to others! I think this will really help me address the soreness and tightness in my neck and shoulders as well as address issues in other areas going forward!
Long gone are the days of crap foam rollers, expensive massages, and sore muscles. The Hyperice Hypervolt Bluetooth Percussion Massage Device is here to save your body. Before your first use, do yourself a favor and download the Hyperice app. The app provides a variety of routines, from pre-workout prep to post-workout recovery sessions, allowing your body to warm up and cool down properly. It's a great, quick, and effective way to loosen up your muscles. AND it feels incredible. And if the cost has you questioning its worth, don't. Also, yes, actual massages are great, but the costs add up. Being able to use this on demand at home makes it worth every penny. As for the gun itself, it's one of the more quiet guns on the market compared to the Compex Massage Gun and the Theragun Elite. It has three settings based on your preference and needs. It comes with a variety of swappable attachments, though I'm pretty keen on the ball head for most uses. The handle feaures a soft, rubberized grip for comfort and allows you to get into those hard to reach places. The bluetooth connectivity allows you to pair it with the app and control the settings from your phone. Unlike some other products, it does not come with a carrying case, though you do get a little bag for the attachments to easily take them with you wherever you go. This massage gun will change the way you prep and recover for/from your active lifestyle. Do yourself a favor and elevate your recovery game.
Ive been looking for a solid deep tissue massager. Ive had several off-the-shelf versions and either they were ineffective or just uncomfortable for a long session. My hands are on the smaller size and while the unit itself is compact and the handle large the matter, rubber handle is easy to grasp and not tiring. The attachments easily goes on and removes without the need to screw/unscrew. There are six attachments each for the work you need done. With 20 speed settings and variable power it does all the work for you! Comes with a handle case to protect and keep everything together. This will not run while plugged in so youll want to charge it up completely - they recommend 6 hours - subsequent charging is 3-4 hours.
