The upper part of the unit will put the squeeze on your tummy area, especially if you are sitting upright. Reclining back slightly will reduce this effect. Best to use when you don't have a full belly. Otherwise, we love it!

This is a better fit for me than the leg sleeve, which was too long. I am able to get much more pressure to my quads and hamstrings, aside from my hips. The only awkwardness is that the hose cable is too close to the waist and it forces me to unclip the waist because it became too tight.

I love this addition to my Normatec boots. I have enjoyed the boots for a few years, but as I age (50), I have found all the cycling and running requires more than just stretching, and these hip add-ons are so very helpful. Love em!
It works great especially for glutes and hip. It works better than the leg work for your quads and hamstrings. Unfortunately it stopped working all of a sudden after about a year.
I love the product and the results. However the fit is off due to me being a curvy lady. I would like if the company provided different sizing for the hip attachment. I will be keeping the item and hope to work with the company to find a workaround the sizing issue. All in all great product and I feel so much better after only using it for a very short time.
I will not purchase anything from this company again. They made promises which they can't keep. I received my merchandise almost a month later than stated and only after I complained to my credit card company. of not receiving the product. I understand they are a small company; however, they make promises of delivering merchandise and stall the customer.
DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT !!!Compression on your hips are the opposite you want to do. This unit pushes your hips together not apart. Counter productive healing. Waste of money and will never use this. Worst product I have purchased from hyperice.
I spend a lot of time on a rowing erg. I have had some back issues over the years. The Normatec Hip really helps with my lower back recovery and flexibility.
This thing is AWESOME! I HAD really tight hips, but not anymore. I use it almost daily for pain and tightness and it has helped me find relief.
