The 3400 Southwest from Hyperlite Mountain Gear is a particularly lightweight, yet robust and waterrepellent backpack with taped seams and a double bottom made of Dyneema composite hybrid fabric. The Southwest 3400 holds almost 50 litres of luggage inside and a further 10 litres with external pockets and a sophisticated rolltop closure. Ropes, trekking poles and similar items can be attached to the lid strap or on the outside. The rucksack has removable aluminium rods, a padded back and a wide hip belt with two waterproof zipped pockets.
