This headset is maybe worth $50 at best, but due to the "300 Hour Battery Life" gimmick, it's allowed them to drive the price sky-high. I missed out on more quality headsets and could've saved some money instead of buying this junk.I've had quite a few HyperX headsets and this is by far the worst, and I would expect more from this company than this heap. Cloud 2's are still my gold-standard for comfort/sound quality, but as for wireless headsets? HyperX is behind the curve.

I went ahead to buy the HyperX Cloud Alpha Wireless gaming headset to replace my other headset that I use for my PC. I used the Cloud Alpha for PC and the PS5. The sound quality is great, I could hear the footsteps sounds in FPS and 3rd person shooter games. Playing games or listening to music sounds great. You can tell the Cloud Alpha is durable unlike the A50 which they feel delicate. Since I own both headsets with different price range. The battery life, it takes a while for it to get low. The A50 has 15 hour battery life. The Cloud Alpha has 300 hour battery life. For 2 days it tells me I have 90% battery life. If you don't want to spend $350, that's fine just get the HyperX Cloud Alpha wireless for $199.99 or on sale for only $149.99 plus Tax. Just get it and you will see what I mean. I've been using this more compared to my A50.

The highs and mids are crisp without much washout. The bass is responsive and hits low, but can get muddy at higher volumes. Mic quality is great but you have to make sure you attach the cable fully - it's a little difficult to get it all the way in. Having a pop filter cushion on the mic is a big plus as well.
