Bought for son for Christmas present. Overall decent product. But the mute switch literally broke for the mic in like 2 weeks wirh light use. Other than that everything else still works and but the mute switch seems to be a easy fail point on this particular model.
bought as needed a new headset, hyper x are supposed to be good, this headset wasn't. Very flat, and a very poor wire. You even touch the wire and you are hearing all the scratching in the headset. Though comfy and light, but horrible wire and cheap plastic feel. Just wouldn't recommend got gaming.

First the sound on this headset is good. Then it stops there, the mic picks up any wind possible, the ear cups hurt after 20-30 minutes. Also it depends on the user but I don't like the passive ear muff feeling when trying to talk to someone with this headset on. I have razer and turtle beach headsets this was the most uncomfortable, I would go razer if you want it to be comfy and turtle beach if you want it wireless with a mostly windproof mic.

Ive also had cloud alpha,stinger etc, Astro a40 TR, a50, Corsair RGB and various Turtle each headset through the workshop and nothing has beaten the Hyper Cloud X although the A40 are an incredibly close second but only when coupled with the mix amp and a decent eq set up (I recommend Griefdrums settings). You cannot go wrong with these cans from what Ive seen youd have to pay over 200 to get sound as good as these are out of the box.

They sound like a typical stereo headset given that they lack depth and bass, it seems you have to turn the volume up Loud to hear well with these. They support windows sonic, which is an attempt at surround sound, but it's really not that good. Overall, Good starter or budget headset, but I wouldn't use for competitive gaming
