It doesn't get extremely slow after a month.It has a slightly rougher surface compared to most, but not too bad. It doesn't get affected by humidity like a QCK.The 2XL extended is actually what most companies would call a 3XL size.Highly recommended from someone who has too many mouse pads.

I love this laptop I can run any game I want with high end settings smoothly. I got it on sale and have to say I’d buy it either way it’s a great computer well worth the money.
LAYS FLAT AND STAYS FLAT. DOES NOT CURL UP OR SCRUNCH TOGETHER WHEN LYING SOMETHING DOWN ON IT. I HAVE A GLASS TOP DESK AND THIS WORKS PERFECT FOR IT. ALSO, LARGEST MAT I COULD FIND IN-STORE AT ANY STORE.

This thing is awesome, and it is MASSIVE. You may want to measure your desk before hand, not just because of the width, but the height. It was too big for my desk at work, so I guess I'll just have to use it at home.Very smooth, the underside has great grip. Any type of weight on the pad and it won't move around on even a slippery desk. I though $50 may be a bit steep, but this bad boy is thick and feels like high quality. I would pay $50 for this considering the size and quality.Highly recommend.
