Brought these and returned straight away. No bass whatsoever very grainy sound, good idea but just more of a gimmick, either pay double / tripple for a decent quality all in one ceiling speaker or just buy a stand alone battery Bluetooth speaker (jbl charge 3) that thing pumps it!

I first installed these on my own house while doing my kitchen. These are small, easy to install and are really loud for the size with the sound quality being just as good if not better than some of the other media speakers we have fitted. We have wired these direct to switches using blue clicks or wagos with wago boxes in ceiling voids so they are completely independent on there own switch and installed them to lights so they can be switched on with your lights. The only down side to having these fitted to your lights would be the tone beep once that light is switched on, but the beep is once and quick enough that it wouldn't bother me, but bare that mind if you're using these in a kitchen or bathroom where the lights are often turned on. Had been looking for speakers for the bathroom for a while and saw these on offer. Was a little apprehensive about buying them at first because of the size of the speaker cones. However the clarity for the money is first class. Very easy to install, used a 67mm holesa, wired into one of my downlighters so all wiring is hidden above ceiling. Simply powers up with the light switch. Would highly recommend.

I bought these for my bathroom ceiling 18 months ago and were excellent. I have just framed and sheeted my garage to use it as a gym and have now bought another set for in the ceiling of that.It is so much better than having to take a handheld Bluetooth speaker out ther . I would highly recommend these.
Never wrote a review before. Take no notice of the negative reviews of this product. Installed this in the bathroom & it’s excellent. If you’re unsure about this product, don’t be, you won’t regret it, very pleased.
It's ok, and it is fantastic value Vs buying ceiling speakers and a Bluetooth module, however I am unit 2 due to connection drop outs.Note that once a connection drops you have to cut power to restart the device.Not sure why the connection drops, it is connected to an Alexa device about 2.5 metres away through an uninsulated ceiling... Sometimes itll go 2 days something 2 hrs but the connection always dropsPowering on the light switch is not an option as it makes too much noise when establishing a connection and it wakes everyone up at night.Recently I have worked around this problem by fitting it via a smart switch so I can toggle the power of just this device and I can also do it via Alexa

Easy installation in bathroom ceiling. Also connected it to a Amazon Echo Dot for DAB :-) Sound is spot on for my needs for a speaker set in this price range. Will be recommending to my customers on bathroom installations.Performance and reliability can't be judged yet.
Used these in the bathroom, on a pvc cladded ceiling. Wired them in and left them hanging to test them, they sounded really tinny and pretty poor so was dissapointed. Pushed the speakers into position in the ceiling and the sound quality increased 10 fold. Its not audiophile quality, but for the size of the speakers they have a good sound. Go loud enough to hear over the top of a shower.
This is a great concept and worked great for around 3 to 4 months and now does not work at all. The sound quality from this was ok but due to the small size of the speakers there is little to no bass response. Am i glad i bought them? Yes because it has given me the idea to build in a Bluetooth car stereo and 4 speaker system which should be the bees knees as it adds radio and cd options. Would i buy these again? No
