Overall:I just received the bass, first impressions it is beautiful. The the blue body and headstock match the gold hardware look amazing with it. The second thing is that she's a beast. Smooth slim neck, large frets, the electronics on this... oh my, very nicely done. I have yet to have an Ibanez I don't like. Definitely a great bass at this price point, great for anyone new or pro!

I absolutely loved the look of this bass, and reviews on the SR305 have been stellar, however unfortunately this particular one was mostly just a headache. It arrived with a couple of the knobs fallen off. I didn't realize at the time they could just be tighened back on with an allen wrench, but that was a QA miss. My local GC took care of it without question.Once I got to playing on it, the intonation just kept slipping. I had it into the GC store twice after that initial time for intonation fixes and some string stretch, but had to adjust the bridge myself about 5 more times in the next few weeks. At my wits end, I took it to a friend who's a professional luthier who informed me that the build quality wasn't stellar. I recently got this bass and has suited me and my playing style so well, highly recommend.
