The iBasso IT05 is an in-ear earphone with a dynamic driver specially developed by iBasso that produces excellent sound quality. The dynamic transducer features a diameter of 11 millimetres and is coated with a chrome-nano material that has a very high stiffness. This allows the IT05 to reproduce a voluminous sound with high detail and fine resolution. The diaphragm is driven by an ultra-strong 1.6 Tesla magnetic flux. This ensures a perfectly controlled, rich, energetic sound. The transducer cabinet is made of brass and stainless steel. Brass has a high density, which results in minimal resonance and distortion. Stainless steel has excellent acoustic properties that guarantee detailed and transparent highs. The combination of both materials results in a natural, detailed sound over a wide frequency response. iBasso has also used a Helmholtz resonator with two cavities, which makes the overall sound softer and therefore particularly fatigue-free. Two earphone cables are included, one with a balanced 4.4 mm plug and one with a 3.5 mm plug. The earphones are equipped with MMCX connectors so that the cable can be easily changed. The metal housing of the IT05 is CNC-machined with high precision and the front panels in blue wave design provide that certain aesthetic extra.
