They are thicker, soft and very comfortable. The new pair is obviously lighter weight and lighter weave fabric. They have the same labels and are the same size, but only weigh 228g. As expensive as these are, they are going back. I'm disappointed. I really wanted a second pair of legging like my first.

Wearing the leggings non-stop. They fit well, true to size. Only improvement would have been a higher waist. They come up to my belly button (I'm 5'8) but would have liked them higher. But maybe that's just me.

I was hesitant to spend the money on a good pair of base layer bottoms, but decided to order these based on other reviews and I was pleasantly surprised. I’m 5’0 and 110lbs and the XS was the perfect length for me, which is hard to find when you’re this short. They also aren’t baggy, but also not super tight. Can’t say how warm they are yet as I haven’t had a chance to test them.
I bought these a couple of weeks ago. Icebreaker still has exceptional athletic wear. I still own long sleeve wool shirt that is over 10 years ol and still in great shape. Love Icebreaker and thank you Moosejaw for having Icebreaker clothing!!!
I get very cold very fast, and these 260 bottoms and tops are amazing. Soft, not itchy, fitted but not super snug, so they are comfy as an under layer and on their own. I'm usually a small in most things, and got the small navy. Size chart is accurate. So cozy, I'm contemplating a backup.
The pair of 200 Ice Breaker legging I bought about 20 years ago finally were worn enough that this replacement was bought. I wear them as pajamas and to do my morning yoga. Merino is great to sleep in for hot flashes. These are a perfect fit for my narrow waist and fairly muscular legs. So delighted to be able to buy a long version that fits the long legs.
Great overall fit for curvy/athletic physiques. Some brands seem only for rail-thin, not so here. Perfect mid-rise (not to low, not too high) and very comfortable waistband. As expected wool content and quality makes them warm and comfortable next to the skin. Good for active pursuits in colder weather.
Super comfortable and forms around the body nicely without bunching up. Warm enough to start cooler activities yet enough ventilation for when you’re warmed up while keeping body temperature comfortable. Great for active hiker, adventure/travel in cooler climates. Would love to see these available in black.
These fit me perfectly out of the box. They did shrink a bit when I washed them, so are a bit snugger now, but still good. I am 5'3. A taller person might find them a bit too short. They are very soft and warm and not at all bulky. I am looking forward to wearing them on my snowshoe adventures.
