IRig Acoustic Stage consists of a small MEMS microphone, which is attached to the sound hole of the guitar, as well as an additional hi-quality processor and preamp, into which the microphone signal is fed, before it is routed from there after appropriate processing into the amplifier or a mixer. The microphone used is a revised version of the iRig Acoustic. Finally, it is possible to record the sound of an acoustic guitar without any problems in the studio as well as to transmit it on stage realistically and in studio quality. Gone are the days of hours of soundchecks and searching for the ideal mic or pickup positions, with iRig Acoustic Stage you get a natural or altered-at-will sound, perfectly and within minutes. A "Cancel Feedback" switch and an AUX input with blend control (e.g. for mixing the signal of a pickup) complete the picture. An additional USB audio output allows iRig Acoustic Stage to be connected directly to a computer, iOS or Android device for recording, without the aid of an audio interface. The integrated DSP offers 6 tone presets for different applications and instruments.
