I purchased 2 to put at each end of the sofa.We already have the table lamps in this series as bedside lamps, having purchased them appropriately 5 years ago and they are still working perfectly and look as good as when purchased.The floor lamps like the table lamps are good quality and look far more expensive than the price. Perfectly suited to a traditional decor.I purchased the globes suggested and they give off a good even light suitable for reading, watching TV or using screens.Very happy with the purchase. They complete the roomand I love them.

Easy assembly and I love that it came with the shade. I tend to get overwhelmed picking out a lamp and shade so it was nice they were already paired. One thing that I was pleasantly unprepared for was how satisfying the on/off pull chain is to use. Smooth operation, with a satisfying click.

Ordered on line. When I took the shade out of the box it had a big crease crossed the shade. Customer support was very nice and had another one sent out quickly. That one had the same damage. Customer support was going to send another one, but I said I would return these both to the store (40 miles away) and try one off the floor. He checked the store and said they had 10 in stock. After returns , we purchased another and went straight back to returns counter, there we opened the box and it had the same damage, more mild, and returned that one. It seemed it was being caused by a card board cut out in the box. I was very disappointed as I purchased one some months ago and really like it and wanted a second one for the other side of the room.I'm rating the next set ... MoreOrdered on line. Oh IKEA I had such high hopes for this product. The website pictures make this lamp look so elegant and stylish! However, whoever designed the foot switch (big white plastic thing) has made this elegant lamp look cheap and it’s unfortunate that the photos on the website don’t show it. Such an epic fail in the design. I bought the side lamp also and it came with a cute dangle switch (this would’ve looked great on this one too). You can’t hide the foot switch either as it’s the only way to turn on/off the lamp. Why would anyone design this lamp with a plastic foot switch and not a cute silver dangle switch or silver round button foot switch? Makes no sense at all! Such a shame I can’t attach photos to show those who might not like the look of this foot switch design.
Very happy with this purchase. The pick-up was efficient - especially liked the dedicated psrking area - packing thoughtful; assembly simple - and it looks and works very well. I'll buy another one soon.

Like this you just walk by the lamp and turn it on under the shade - very convenient. The base is heavy and therefore very stable. I would have prefered the shade beeing out of cotton, but this material also works - would have been just a personal preference for the full retro design. I just shortly want to highlight that the cable solution is amazing. The cable is actually quite long, but you can hide it easily after adjusting it to the plug under the lamp base. So far, I am highly statisfied - we deeply hope that this will last and the lamp won´t break as so far we´ve no clue where to find a similar one (as already searched ... Lovely, timeless floor lamp. Easy to assemble in less than 5 minutes. Seems well made and sturdy. About 5'7" tall. Fantastic buy for the price of €45
Has a heavier bottom so it doesn’t feel flimsy. I don’t use the little chain, I have a light switch it’s plugged into. Makes the room cozy. If you read you have to be right under the lamp as it doesn’t illuminate the room enough for that. I bought the recommended bulbs for it. But I love it and looks so nice.
Pretty standard lamp with good quality lampshade for illuminating a dark corner. I especially like the pull chain switch which is much easier to use than a floor or bulb switch. Easy to assemble with nice heavy base.
It took me 5 min or less to put it together. It’s a really good height too not overly tall 5ft7 to 5ft 8 I reckon. I love the hanging chain feature to turn it on or off. It’s a wonderful lamp.
