When you find a product in ikea which feels very solid, despite being pulled and prodded by thousands of people each day, there's a good chance it's a keeper.This trolley/ benchtop is really solid and the beautiful natural timber just pops with a light sand and natural oil. A lovely and functional addition to our small kitchen giving us much needed extra workspace and storage. Plus our cats love it too!

Researched for several months for a side table to extend the end of my kitchen island. I wanted to create a coffee bar, but needed a smooth height transition from the island to the side table. Then, the light bulb moment clicked and I knew Ikea would give me options. The Bekvam was the perfect width and height. Its real wood stability and ease of assembly gave me the perfect coffee bar!!!

I am a HUGE fan of IKEA. I took my mother-in-law for the first time a few months ago. She bought this because it was exactly what she was looking for. Unfortunately, it was missing numerous screws and connectors. She called IKEA and they told her she had to bring it back and exchange it. Y'all, she lives two and a half hours away. She was so disappointed she had to drive a five hour round trip just to get some screws that were missing from the new item she purchased.

We purchased this for some extra counter space in our small kitchen and it is wonderful! I use it every day for chopping fruits and vegetables. I almost got the bigger one but I am happy I decided on the smaller as it is so cute and takes up less space. It was surprisingly easy to put together and I love how we can move it around by the wheels in our small space.
Waited FOREVER for this cart to be restocked in Orlando. Bought 2 & switched the leg design. Have 1 cart with 4 wheels, and 1 cart without any wheels that I use as a foyer table. This cart can be used for anything and is so versatile. Only regret is that I didn't purchase pre-pandemic when it was much cheaper.
I was looking for an small, inexpensive kitchen island, and the BEKVÄM fit the bill perfectly. I like that it's easy to access from all sides, and easy to move out of way when necessary. I treated it with several coats of mineral oil and wax for protection, which brought out the beauty of the wood. I also added a towel bar on one side, made from a piece of dowel and an inexpensive pair of brackets actually intended for a toilet roll holder.
Although there's a cart made specifically for the Sunnersta Mini Kitchen set, it doesn't suit my needs quite like the Bekvam Cart. With it's lower height it fits perfectly under the counter and adds extra shelves to the kitchen. Even better though, you can pull it out from under the Sunnersta counter and use it as extra counter space. With my limited kitchen space, I've even taken to use it as a mini table when paired with a stool. It suits all my space saving needs.
This unit perfectly fits the width and depth of a gap I had. I raised the height to align with my cooker and counter tops to give a ‘built-in’ look. Good solid piece with a quality work surface, great storage and looks good in my white/grey kitchen. Easy to assemble.
Easy to assemble and all solid timber construction. I painted with a marine grade varnish to give an extra protection against scratches. It also brought out beautiful timber colour and grains.
Works as a multi purpose extra surface in our shop. The shelves are strong enough to hold small machines and supplies. The wheels ended up being super useful!
