I've measured this chair against the ektorp I purchased in 2015 and the seat is 4cm shorter and 4cm narrower... It used to feel like sitting in a spacious cloud but now it just feels average. The 2 seater is much better if you have the room.

I bought the sectional & recliner online. Then decided we had room for the chair too. We love it! I put I all together myself. I had the hubs help attach the 2 pieces of sectional. Great cushions! Always love a washable slip cover! (Grandkids & dogs)
I find this new armchair far less comfortable than the ektorp I bought 10+ years ago, the seat cushion is already misshaped and the padding in the arms seems thinner than before.
Cushion on seat is not full enough...no matter what weight of person sitting there, there is a depression left .Can feel frame under knees...not so comfy as other Ektorp bought in the past.

I bought a Kivik almost 15 years ago. I LOVED it. So comfortable. Now I bought an Uppland and #1 the legs are too high and my feet do not touch the floor. I am 5'7"!!, #2 the cushions are too firm and they do not fit into the covers properly. #3 the upholstery fabric is terrible- stiff and not very attractive (medium gray). Not a comfortable chair. Very disappointed. Yes Yes, I know your automated response is I have 180 days to return. I HOPE THIS HELPS. You can come load everything back into my truck and drive it 2 hours back to the store. So disappointed.
Love our new chairs. Very comfortable and look perfect in the space. Had to wait for stock but delivery to Geelong made it so easy.
