Broke before we got home. My husband incurred a deep cut. Initially placed the comment 9/3/23 and have received multiple emails that someone from the store will be in touch to refund. It is now 11/5/23 ie 2 months later and many email correspondences and still no follow up/refund.In the meantime have purchased and used Pyrex containers- better priced and MUCH better quality. The IKEA glass containers are not safe to use.

Bought this one as a replacement for the old one that cracked on a bend. I love these lids: you can flip the containers 360 degrees and there will be no leaks! Thanks to this lid on a container food in the fridge stay fresh for a long time. Cracks may happen, but it's fine, it could be my fault because I pulled hard on a lid. For older people especially with arthritis, it could be hard to open/close the lids on the containers especially when the lid is new. I have air-tight lids from other brands and they are also hard to open/close sometimes, so it's not bad design or poor quality, it's how it works.

Great design and solidly made. Quality control is somewhat lacking. I bought a couple of these and after giving them a wash, discovered that they did not sit flat on a flat surface and rocked from side to side. Visiting my local store (not where I bought them), I found that most suffered the same problem to varying degrees, a few were ok. I was unable to return them as I had removed the labels, and in any case, despite them clearly not sitting flat on the counter, that wasn't a fault. This was disappointing. That said, I would buy again, remembering that quality control is my responsibility.

Bought about 4 of these and 2 have already chipped in a few months. Picked one up and a bit of the lip chipped off and cut my finger. Buyer beware.Treated them no differently than my pyrex and decor glass containers and these were the only ones that chipped. Where is the option to add photos in this review? This product should be recalled and redesigned. Why is ikea’s glass and ceramic so cheaply made that a customers safety is not kept in mind? I bought ceramic bowls from ikea previously and also started chipping within a few months. Not worth the money or your fingers!
I bought two of these last week and they ended up being stacked in the carrier bag (I didn’t see any advice not to do this). When I got home they were firmly stuck together. I tried to gently pull them apart and they both smashed into thousands of tiny, incredibly sharp shards of glass. One piece cut my leg and it took me hours to clean up because I found pieces everywhere. I don’t really care about money as they were only £3 each but I think they should be recalled or come with a warning not to stack them.
Last fall, my partner and I bought dozens and dozens of these containers with the matching bamboo lids to redo our entire walk-in storage. They looked great! However, after a few months' use we discovered that they were not anywhere near air tight. Most of the things we stored in them went stale and were no longer edible. At first, I thought we might not be placing the lids on correctly, so I made an effort to ensure they were clean and on securely…but they still did not work. We continued to have to throw out food. After 9-10 months, I contacted IKEA to let them know that the containers that they recommended for dry storage were not actually keeping things fresh. They said it was outside the window for returns (90 days) and could offer no assistance. This is ... They said it was outside the window for returns (90 days) and could offer no assistance. This is particularly frustrating because it takes longer than a few months for most dry goods to go bad and we made attempts to remedy the issue over the last 9-10 months ourselves. I don't recommend these as they do not keep food fresh.
I love these glass with gasket lids. I use them not only in my kitchen but all ove my home for various storage purposes. As someone trying to get organized, and minimalize the space I use and to get rid of the stuff I don't use or need these containers help with organizing the clutter. I also enjoy the stacking option as with commercial packaging it's difficult to organize much less maximize my space. Additionally you are able to see what's in your containers. If you are worried about expiration dated take a sticky note and write that there. Or simply cut out the expiration date from the original packaging and place it inside with your contents. The possibilities are endless.
This baking dish is the perfect size for casseroles and desserts. The lids you buy to go with it make it even more perfect for storing your leftovers or transporting to potlucks or family dinners. The thickness of the glass makes them more durable. Liked the first one so much I bought 2 more to replace my other casserole dishes that don't have lids. Even better, the other 2 I bought were marked down. Highly recommend these as well as the other glass and plastic dishes and lids in the 365 product line. Hope ikea doesn't get rid of this line as it is one of the best out there, especially for the price.
The plastic storage containers are sturdy, but all the snap-lock lids definitely need significant improvement in their fit! I had a very hard time trying to shut all the lids, despite the fact they were of different sizes. With all the lids, only 1 side seemed easy to shut, and the remaining 3 sides were a struggle. Some were so hard to shut, that I just left them un-shut! Due to the difficulty with shutting the lids, I am very reluctant to use these containers to store daily-use pantry items. This is a major disappointment because I bought 14 such containers specifically for this purpose! I doubt it is an issue with a particular size or 1 particular lid because all my lids had the same problem. The nearest IKEA store is more than an hour away, otherwise I would ... the seal it provides is impressive. so far it doesn't stain even microwaving ravioli in a heavy tomato sauce. it clean easily. I have peace of mind knowing there's no plastic dripping back into my food when i microwave. the handle makes it easy to handle long microwave cycles without burning yourself and it's very rigid so it doesn't flop around or in my food. i went back and bought the smaller circular lid just because of this one
