Our sofa is comfortable. Apart from not arriving all parts in the same day I quite like the sofa.I was expecting the fabric to be softer however the colour matches exactly as showed on the website.It’s hugeee as well and I know have space for a big family.

The main construction of the sofa is great. It seems fairly comfortable so far. My main criticism is the seat covers! They are an absolute nightmare to put on. The same applies to the cushions. I've worked with a furniture upholsterer in the past and she never made covers this tight! Apart from that everything is fine.

While the style of this couch is excellent, the quality of the cushion stuffing is a down grade from the display set up in store, thinner and a cheaper style fill, disappointed that I don’t have what I thought I was getting

I purchased this sofa because I wanted something that could easily be brought into my flat, looked stylish, had a chaise section and was comfortable. I got everything I wanted and it's just perfect! I made it easier by booking a Taskrabbit to assemble and put on the covers. All I had to do was iron them beforehand.The sofa in charcoal is ideal because I always worry about my makeup transferring onto a lighter fabric. It's cosy, comfortable and when a friend came to stay she slept on it with no hassle. In the evening, having the chaise section makes watching TV or working on my laptop a dream and means I don't need to bother with a footstool.Well done IKEA, great design, practical solution for those who need modular options that are great value.

Very comfy and looks great in my TV room
A modular lounge was the only option because of a tight staircase, and this Soderhamn is a good looking solution that could be tailored to suit our space, and added onto in the future. It was quick and relatively easy to assemble. This sofa is not soft and spongy, but it is perfectly comfortable for lounging. We love the modern, minimalist style.

The quality of the cushion and filling has downgraded dramatically compared to the instore display they are not even close…. Quite disappointed with the comfort level
we are very happy with this sofa. we have it for 5 years. it is serving us well, we washed the covers so many times and they still look great.
