Perfectly apt for price you pay.It is very hard to find E14 Globe bulbs outside in India, even if you find in Amazon, they sell it 4 pieces a set. So, do yourself a favor and order bulb along with lamp from Ikea.I am temporarily using 1W E14 Led White lamp that is used in Fridge and it works because my intention is Show.Long lights in Amazon will protrude out and will be eyesore.TLDR; Satisfactory for its Price, buy bulb along with it from Ikea

Max 8W LED lamp of E16 socket(sold seperately), it offers satisfactory illumination, which is quite impressive for a budget-friendly option. Can not complain for the money, though, there is room for improvement in terms of the product's finish. Specifically, the edges of the parts are somewhat rough, with noticeable burrs that could potentially be hazardous if not handled with care. Polishing these edges to remove the sharp burrs would enhance the overall safety and aesthetic appeal of the lamp.

Bought for our spare room. Very light and plastic, but good for purpose. Easy to assemble with next to no instructions. The bulbs don't come with it, but easy to buy from Bunnings. I had to google the bulb type E14 460 5 watt. I chose teardrop bulbs but would look better with small round ones if available.Fof the price, I'm more than happy.

I was very surprised at the quality of these lamps. I've been looking for a good desk or side table lamp and I have purchased a few on Amazon. However none of them have lasted. They have all been rechargeable led lights so I thought they would be amazing but they were not. I was on the fence about these lamps mainly because of the great price. I thought it had to be a "too good to be true" deal but I took the risk and now I own 4 of them. The cord is nice and long which allows me to put them in many places in my house without worrying so much about arrangement to the outlets. This is a great reading light or to even have in the living room for a indirect warm evening light. I highly recommend and I will be purchasing more.
This lamp is reasonably stylish and functional for the price, and it's easy to snap the shade onto the base. I just wish the lamp shade were longer. You see, the tip of the Solhetta E12 bulb sits nearly flush with the opening of the lamp shade, and if you have direct line of sight to the bulb, it's uncomfortably bright. For now, I'm only using this lamp as an accent lamp pointed away from me, but I may look for a better bulb for this application.
Pros:Sturdy,AestheticHigh quality.Cons:Even a zero bulbs throws to much light. It is because of the housing of the light which is amplifies the light.Because of to much light, one can hardly gets adjusted to it.Moreover, a tilt option is missed which again causes light directly hitting to eyes.Overall, it is a okay buy, but it definitely not for study use. And if one is looking for a budget buy then I would recommend them to get it from Amazon.

Mould lines and injection marks artfully concealed, everything nicely straight and sturdy, and all around just a surprisingly nice finish to it.It'll likely take a fairly good beating before taking more than an occasional scratch or so, too.Only downside is that, being all plastic and not affixed to anything, it's a little light for its height, and it'll move around rather a bit too easily for some. No real easy way to ballast the thing, either.*All in all, if it looks good to you in the picture, it'll only look all that much better in real life. I too, purchased this lamp with the understanding it had a bulb included...signage indicated it did!!! Brought it home, and no bulb. After reading the reviews, it seems the issue is that CALIFORNIA only gets a lamp with a bulb in stores! it doesn't even ADVERTISE the lamp without a bulb!! NOR does it NAME the bulb! this website shows 5 different E12 450 lumen bulbs!! Are we to GUESS which one fits the Svallet???? How bout some help guys?!!Well...Now I have to either pay shipping fees and pray the one I pick fits... or drive 40 minutes to my "local" Ikea for a stupid bulb. Both are not even remotely doable at this point. Very disappointed, as this is the PERFECT lamp for my small desk area. Unfortunately, due to the angle of the lamp, the bulb is not fully concealed and so you get a very bright light shining into your eyes. If I were able to adjust the angle so that the lamp faced a little more downwards, then the lamp would have been perfect. However, the lamp is not adjustable.
Unless you super glued the lamp part to the stand prepare for it to continually fall over from the slightest touch or by moving it across a table etc. The two pieces slot together but the weight of the switch and wires means the top part falls off constantly. Its a great price but annoying, worth the extra cost to get something fixed together or that you can angle.
