I am quite pleased with the product. Easy to assemble, looks classy, decent storage. I have used it as a bedside bench. It goes well with the boho-style decor theme of my bedroom and also fulfills the need for storage

I am very pleased with this lovely piece of natural materials product. Instructions recommend two to assemble. I found it easy to do myself and very quickly too. Having purchased many Ikea products I always find the instructions very clear and simple to follow. My bench looks lovely in my hallway.

Looks great and has decent storage. Only problem I noticed is that it smells like someone has pounded a thousand farts into it. I've had it for five months now, and still, farts. Great item otherwise.

I love it visually, i‘m using it as a dining bench and loved the idea of extra storage for seating. Its strong enough to sit two people on top but not two heavy people lol. It could use some extra reinforcement through the middle. And i would prefer the lid be attached with hinges of some kind. But it looks beautiful and works great super easy to put together great price.
Bought it online. The description is not clear on the site. I was expecting a hinged opening. But this one is a lift and open kind of situation, so the top needs to be lifted off completely to use the storage .But still a great product, nothing a little DIY can’t fix. My husband put little hinges to make the opening and closing easier.
After about a year with this piece, I would not recommend it. Having to lift off the whole lid to access the storage, rather than having a hinged lid, is a pain, especially if you access the storage regularly. In addition, my bench still has a strong chemical smell, even after standing out in a ventilated area for a year. I don’t have a particularly sensitive nose, and the smell still lingers in the entry area and transfers to fabric items stored in/on the bench. It’s cute and inexpensive, but I’ll be replacing mine with something else.
It’s a great addition to the hallway / living room … as a piece of decor … and maybe a little storage. It’s not exactly your daily use bench. In 3months of sparingly being used it’s already sagging in the middle.But no doubt it looks gorgeous!
SO beautiful but unfortunately is not long enough to balance the dimensions of a king sized bed. Also is very shallow in depth and does not have hinges to connect the top and bottom. IKEA please make this with hinges and in 60” length or more!!!
When I saw this on the website I thought it would be the perfect entry bench, and I was right. It perfectly holds all of my hand-knit hats, scarves, shawls, and mittens. I was a little worried about the rattan snagging my knits, but the SKUBB organization bins fit nicely to keep things safe and neat. I love the natural materials and the fact that I can still vacuum underneath. It provides excellent storage without looking bulky and matches my aesthetic. IKEA really knocked it out of the park with this one (and the whole line).The only minor problem I had is that a couple of the holes for bolting the legs on weren't drilled correctly, but enough were that the legs are securely attached even without the missing ones.
I was in desperate need of some storage for seasonal throw blankets and pillows. This bench works wonders! It’s beautiful, relatively simple to assemble, and very lightweight which makes it easy to move around for extra seating. I paid $149.00 (Fall 2023) and I feel that is a pretty fair price. I will note that over time, if the bench gets more use, it may start to sag in the middle as there is no support on the lid or in the box to prevent this. But so far it’s been very sturdy, and perfectly fine for occasional seating.
