I bought this in medium/firm as the reviews said it was a firm mattress and I preferred the medium firm hovag over the firm. But the mattress quickly started to sag and I now have constant back ache. I have turned the mattress around to sleep on the other side which helped initially but now that it starting to sag. I want to exchange it for a firm but I'm past the 90 days. It's a big problem as the mattress is getting worse over time and it seemed fine at first. What's happened to the quality, my children have hovag beds and as good as new but they stopped selling them. The foam Asvang has also changed hugely and is nothing like the quality it used to be.

I do regret why I made such a mistake I chose Ikea while it was June and there were many other options as low as Ikea.Anyway, these Mattress sounds have a very low ability to absorb your body humidity and warmth. So, it makes you turn around frequently and it hugely affects your seep sleep. the other cons is that it gave a very bad backache even compared to very cheap mattresses that have nothing but a spring. So, considering the 800 prices, you can go for any other option other than Ikea in off-months. Just take care of the bed too since Ikea sizes don't match with Australian standard and they are 1 cm smaller both with and length.I will definitely go for a refund or return. But I need to see and check how.

This is the only mattress can be called "firm" in ikea mattress range. Good Quallity, no wried smell, but the edge of the mattress not have a good support, if you have a high bed frame, it may casue you fallen form the bed easily. Specailly like 2 people sleep on a double size bed. When you buy the sheet or cover for you bed, you need go a upper size, because it is much thicker than other mattress, I have a double size mattress but need a queen size sheet.Others are fine.

I chose this mattress based on Ikea's recommendation. I am more than 80 kg and my partner is less than 60 kg. In the showroom, there was only a single mattress to try so we could try only individually and not as a couple, thus, we could not find out that the springs go down on my side and there is a big imbalance between the surface under me and the surface under her. We do not recommend it at all.
We chose this mattress based on the IKEA recommendation as I am more than 85 kg and my partner is less than 60 kg. There was no double in the shop so we could only try it individually. The problem is that the springs go down on the surface beneath me due to my weight. This makes a big unpleasant imbalance between the surface beneath me and that beneath my partner. We do not recommend it at all.
I have a single Hovag in my spare bedroom that it's really comfortable so I thought to buy a king for my master but Hovag it's not available anymore so I got first a Valevag thinking it would be similar and then the medium firm of the Vagstranda as an upgrade and they are both awful. I got the medium but it's too hard even after 3 months of using it. It gives me backache every night. I wish I never bought it
We were following the guide of another retailer about replacing every 8 years when we stumbled upon this mattress in store. It came rolled which was different our last one was delivered by ikea flat. This one we unrolled and left to come to shape for a day, and put it on the bed. It was very comfy, being larger and my wife not, we were worried about the firmness but it was nothing to worry about, the generous layer of foam really softens it while still being firm. I've had the best night's sleep this week vs the last few years which was at the time Ikeas "best mattress (by price)". If you're reading this, try the mattress. If you don't like it, you have 90 days to swap it out.
Bought this mattress recently- not at all like it was when we tried it. Rock hard and so uncomfortable. Will be looking to exchange although would prefer a full refund as none of the other ikea mattresses seem any better. IKEA Firm means you will be more comfy on the floor- not good for side sleepers especially. Really poor!
This mattress is apparently for side and back sleepers. As a side sleeper I do not recommend. It caused pressure soreness on both hips as there is absolutely no give from the springs. Even with a topper it was the same. It's so hard even lying on the back causes lower back soreness. Avoid.
