We bought Ikonic brand passage lever handles, and so had to buy this privacy handle to match. The passage sets are ok, but this one... we have had to replace this several times due to the really bad quality internal mechanism. First one broke after a month, the replacement one a couple of months later. Go a bit more expensive and better quality, and you will save actually save money.

We have just changed all our door handles with the San Fran black privacy door handles and we have had to replace one as the it jammed now we have another one jammed to our main toilet. Cheap price I know but after 2 weeks of having them we shouldn’t be getting locked in or out & its very dangerous. Very disappointed as they looked great

Has been installed for a about a month and was working fine until one of the internal bolts that moves the latch to release the door sheered off. This meant that I could not unscrew the external handle and ended up having to use a chisel and hammer to break through the door jam to move the mechanism to open the door. Very unhappy!

Utterly Garbage. My partner got locked in the bedroom because the handle failed to open again, had to break it to get her out of the room wasn't even locked. What if someone was in danger or you had to leave the premises immediately. This should not be on your shelves bunnings completely disgraced and only 6 months old. Never used the locking feature as it is also garbage.
I bought this two months ago and latches broken then I thought it was my bad luck. I replaced it with new one again in few weeks it was broken. Don't buy this product. I hope Bunnings also stop supply this low quality product.
I've been impressed. I've been using it for about 2 months now, it looks great and is very firm/solid. Installation takes no more than 10-15min if you already have a hole cut-out, although the included instructions are a bit vague. If you're a beginner like me, it might help to watch some short videos online first. I've since installed another two more on other doors.
I bought a total of 7 of these handles and the passage version handles for my newly renovated unit. Within 3 weeks the first one broke. We now have had to replace 3 of them and it has only been 2 months. It is awful getting stuck in a room because it won’t open. I wish I paid the extra money for better quality.
We purchased 7 of these, 5 have failed one after the other. Just waiting on the others to fail. We have only had for 2 weeks. Would never purchase these again. Bunnings has been great about getting a refund. Not a good product and I wish I had read reviews prior as it’s obviously a product issue. Save yourself time and money and don’t bother with these.
These handles were installed about 6 months ago throughout the property we just bought. After just three weeks here our 3year old was locked in his playroom because the internal mechanism failed. After some stress I was able to scale the outside pergola to access the room and remove the handle from the inside as there’s not access to the screw heads on both sides. From the amount of bad reviews on this product and especially with similar situations of children or adults getting locked in, this product should be recalled. I’ll notify the ACCC on behalf of those concerned as when I discussed this with a Bunnings team leader, as I wanted to replace all 6 door handles before they also failed, I was told that if they’re not faulty now, they can’t do anything. Absolute rubbish. Fitted these door handles through out my newly renovated home and within a month the actual door catch breaks off leaving it stuck in the door striker and you either locked out of a bedroom or in my case my daughter locked in her bedroom and unable to get out. Just as well she’s old enough and tall enough to actually knock the pins out of the hinge so I could remove the door with out having to damage the door or door frame.Should be removed off the shelves.
