I bought shade Adobe (pictured) after receiving a sample of Cork. Iâve been looking for a matte light brown cream eyeshadow and really like this one. But itâs a thin liquid thatâs tricky to work with, so I blend with a fluffy brush very quickly. It dries fast and feels weightless on thin eyelid skin. It doesnât gunk up my eyeshadow brush, instead dries like a powder eyeshadow and all the little hairs are still fluffy. Interesting, right? I like Cork too, but itâs cool toned. Iâm trying to embrace my âLight Springâ color analysis and need something warm and light. Lashify lashes in Tulip Thick Chocolate.

It can be applied as a gentle wash of colour or more heavily as a more opaque shade just let each layer dry before reapplying. It makes a great base for the powder eyeshadow I wear as eyeliner (MAC embark). To apply, I dab the applicator onto the back of my hand then apply from my hand to my lid using a finger. It dries fast so I'm quick to apply and blend it out at the edges. The color is great as a one and done on my skin tone. I'm light-medium with cool undertones and this evens out the color of my eyelids while adding a subtle contour effect that doesn't look orange. Definitely avoid putting this on top of eyelid primer, it gets weird. And donât mix with traditional powders. This product has an effortless beauty alone thankfully so Iâm happy to use it as is or try layering it with another color from the same collection. Tempted to get one of each. My only question is, is there a chance they reformulated the chromatics and they are just as amazing? Let me know!

Itâs not a product I would have normally considered but the lip option wasnât available to add to my basket and the skin care options all contained ingredients I have dermataoligcialy tested sensitive too.I was quite excited as it was a totally different to something I would buy for my self. Intrigued too!It applied effortlessly and instantly brightened my eyes and I was delighted. As it dried it flaked and had gone patchy before I even got to apply mascara. I used Ilia primer to set the eye shadow tint, but any primer will make this light up. It is simply gorgeous! I had long eyed this tint and was tempted to dupe it. However, a dupe will not likely have the wonderful formula that Ilia has. Read about the rare formulation and consider what you are putting on your skin. More and more I am concerned about what I put on my skin, and Ilia is one of those rare products that is both clean and cruelty-free. I consider this tint to be an all-in-one as it lights up lids and turns to a more violet shade above the lids and on the brow bone. I just love it! And it was not incentivized. I ordered it online and picked it up at a local Sephora store. *Also, because of the unique shade, it will be lovely with a brown pencil, black, violet, or blue. It would also blend with any eyeshadow shade, cool or warm. My skin tone is a pale cool tone, but this will work with any skin tone, pale or deep.
