If you enjoy world exploration, dynamic combat battles, solving puzzles, and mythology… this game is for you. There’s plenty of puzzles to solve. The game is visually appealing, and the puzzles are fun to solve. We didn’t enjoy voices of the characters as much as they sound kind of annoying. But it’s worth the money to buy and play the game. Prepare to spend hours playing this game.

So I heard this game was like if “Zelda BOTW had a baby with Assassins Creed”... I laughed at that stupid review, but bought it anyways on sale. Only played it for about 6-8 hours so far. But I have to admit, that lame review... was right! It is very much like Zelda BOTW and Assassins Creed. Super similar. So if your a fan of those 2 games, you’ll love this one! Buy it! It’s underrated. It’s on sale. Do it!

This game builds upon Giant Squids previous effort, Abzu, in almost every way. It shares the same beautiful art style, but the scope has been dramatically increased. While Abzu had very lightweight gameplay, The Pathless has an interesting movement mechanic with shooting arrows at energy spots around the world that give player momentum and speed. The puzzles involve using an eagle companion and shooting arrows (using mirrors and flames). Its not overly complex, but ends up being quite satisfying. Fantastic game overall!

This game is really flying under the radar and its popularity suffers from a weird name change and a badly timed release. A real shame because it is absolutely fantastic! The writing is great and the humour is really addictive. It's like the game doesn't take itself seriously at all and to be honest it's a real breath of fresh air. The combat is really fun and the enemies all unique and interesting to fight. Yes, it is very similar to Breath of the Wild, but still manages to feel and play like something really unique. I finished the game after about 40 hours and didn't do anywhere near all the extra stuff. As soon as I finished I started New Game+ but honestly, all I can think about is the sequel.
I feel like this game is seriously underrated. If you like open world games like Skyrim and BOTW, you will enjoy this one. The world is gorgeous, it's got a fun and humorous story based on Greek mythology, and I'm just generally having a blast playing.
Sure it was "heavily inspired" by Breath of the Wild, but games borrow concepts from each other all the time. We don't call every open world game a "Skyrim clone" anymore even though lots of games have similar mechanics. IFR is a light-hearted adventure with a fun story, tons of exploration, and interesting battle mechanics that you can customize with your gear. I bought all of the DLC as well and loved it too, in total I put around 300 hours between the main game and DLC. I know 300 isn't much for some, but it's a long time for me!It goes on sale quite often so if you're on the fence, wait for a discount.
Pros: This is a fun open world game with great humour and lots of references to Ancient Greek mythology which I really enjoyed. The voice acting is great. It allows you the freedom to explore the world and reminds me a little of Zelda BOTW. However it has a little more structure to it so that you don't end up letting your character wander aimlessly unless you want to!Cons: Sometimes it could be a bit more obvious that certain areas are going to have enemies that will overpower your character until you have built up a certain skill level. The quickly dropping stamina gauge can be slightly irritating in battles but that's probably more as an observer as the recipient of the game isn't bothered by it at all.
I brought the game on the e-store and definitely worth every cent. The game handles and plays very similar to botw as its based apon it. Don't get me wrong it's not the exact same but has many familiar feelings for me. So far I've played about 6 hours and just having fun its an enjoyable experience especially with the switches portability. Now the main question probably everyone has for the switch is about its proformance. Id say honestly I'm pleasantly surprised, I didn't experience many massive frame drops apart from when cutscenes were loading, I felt that although the graphics are heavily downgraded the quality was definitely still up there for how powerful the switch was. Although there isn't a massive draw distance and some textures can appear a lil blurry its ... MoreI brought the game on the e-store and definitely worth every cent. Its a world of mystery and beauty, with puzzles to solve as you roam. Cheats available online if needed. Youll shoot arrows to gain energy, and no worries if you arent the best at shooting games. Approved for all ages. Technically a single person game, but it would also be good to do with a child who wants to play but may need a little help.
Pros: Good game, enjoying it so far. Arrived ahead of expected delivery date.Cons: Arrived with a cracked case, game unaffected. Graphically inferior to other console versions but I purchased it for Nintendo switch knowing this due to the price and for being able to play on switch lite away from the TV.
