Best tasting protein i have tried

The Impact Whey Protein powder from MyProtein is the best tasting powder I've found on the market. I've tried lots of other brands; some were too artificial tasting, lots were too sweet, many didn't mix very well in smoothies, some gave me a bad stomach. But the MyProtein protein didn't come with any of these nasties. I've tried a few of the flavours now; Vanilla, Banana, Strawberry, Caramel and some limited edition Jelly Belly ones too. All were delicious. I prefer to have my protein in a smoothie shake with 400ml of almond milk. I have a small blender to mix. It's the perfect daytime snack. I also add creatine powder from MyProtein to my workout shake.

This is about the keventers flavour. In my experience, all myprotien powders are excessively sweet. But this one crossed all limits. Its been about a month since I bought it and have only dared to drink it twice. Apart from sweetness, it tastes stale and gives a foul after taste. Total waste of money!! Before this, I had tried their cookies and cream flavour, which also was excessively sweet, but i managed to cut its sweetness by adding some coffee to it. Overall extremely unsatisfactory product. Never ever will i be buying from this brand.

I've been ordering for quite a while now. I thought I'd leave a review about flavors since I find them helpful. To me, the most USEFUL flavors are vanilla and chocolate. If you have never ordered protein powder these are honestly the two flavors I would recommend. They are useful because they go so well with other stuff. I love to mix the chocolate with powdered peanut butter and coconut. And the vanilla one goes well with any kinds of fruits, almond butter, even honey. I recommend the chocolate smoothie over chocolate brownie. Chocolate brownie isn't bad but it tastes like artificial chocolate somehow, while chocolate smoothie just takes like plain delicious chocolate. Good Quality Protein
26 December 2022

The quality is pretty good. Mixability is great . Taste is meh-ish , but that's subjective. The protein was pretty effective for me and I was able to gain 4kg muscle in 1 month using 100gm of protein daily (I also had other sources of protein like meat and eggs). The price is a bit high but if you can get it with 20-25% discount then it's pretty competitively priced. Finally , since it is imported from UK it has to pass stricter food and safety regulations which is confidence inspiring as there is noting worse than consuming sub par suppliments. Goes Well With: Milk

Horrible Product
1 February 2023

This particular product I found is horrible in taste and leaves a very bad aftertaste. I feel it is taking even longer to get absorbed or digested. The amount of protein per scoop is also very less. So technically, you are paying more for the same amount of protein per scoop of the other products. They have smartly written the protein per scoop at the bottom of the main information window so that customers may miss that. never purchase this flavor. It's Horrible. You may try other flavors. They are Good. Goes Well With: Nothing goes well with it. Horrible Taste.

Scoop size is wrong
28 April 2022

TLDR (summary); Scoop size is 1g, not 0.25g. Taste is still good though (Mocha flavour) I ordered the Mocha Whey Protein and when I first tried it out I mixed it with mac nut milk and I thought it was good, but wayyyy to sweet. I put in the recommended amount of liquid (8oz), so I added more milk until I reached 16oz, I still thought it was really sweet but it was better that before so I decided to leave it like that. I later decided to weigh the scoop sizes though and it turns out that the scooper that it came with holds 1g of whey instead of the serving size of 0.25g. So, I ended up drinking more than 100g of protein in that one 15oz of liquid. This is a little hard to believe though so i'm not sure if the serving size is supposed to be 0.5g? Anyway, Myprotein, ... MoreTLDR (summary); Scoop size is 1g, not 0.25g. I think that it could use more coffee flavour though, so I mix it with a little instant coffee for some caffeine and better taste in the morning.

Sweet and crafty
3 April 2023

Was really disappointed with this one. Not had anything from here before but was recommended MyProtein by lots of people…. This one was really super sweet/sugary and basically strawberry flavoured (like candy floss), not sure where the chocolate aspect comes in! Main problem though, which may well be the same with all, is how hard it is to read the nutritional info: tiny writing that’s all crammed in, which seems so difficult and hard for a product that is targeted to people using every bit of this info. I’ve used other protein powders that have the basics per serving printed in bold/on the front/standalone and I have found this much easier. I’ll give another flavour a go and my son has the vanilla one which he’s loving so could well just be me!

Sweeter than Sugar
16 February 2023

Chocolate Smooth Isolate Protein has excess sweetener, which makes protein undrinkable. That sweet taste lasts for at least an hour on your tongue. The only reason why I purchase MyP is because of the very good Price/Pound rate and Price/ProteinGram rate. I purchased Coffee flavor earlier, which was very good. But, Coffee Flavor is always unavailable for some reason. So, it's my humble request to MyP to either bring back the Coffee flavor or stop putting so many sweeteners in your protein. Goes Well With: It's like drinking sugar water. So, it can be a good substitute for sugar in any Chocolate related dish.

The best protein powder on the market
23 October 2022

I've been using MyProtein's whet protein for many years now, and it's by far the best out there. I've had both flavoured versions and the unflavoured version, each with their own purpose. The chocolate mint flavour is my fave! It motivates me to do my workout because I look forward to the shake afterwards. Tastes awesome and mixes very well. Likewise the unflavoured version is great for adding to sauces and mixed into my experimental concoctions! Definitely the best protein on the market by far!

*Before I start, this is not a sponsored review* So, I’ve been using this category of product since quite a few years. Although MyProtein products are genuine, but being a customer who’s seen how this market has/had worked, I’d suggest they put some check at the user end to so that we can verify whether it’s original/genuine or not. The mixability is good, the taste is decent. I’ve been drinking the regular coffee/chocolate flavours for years, but I liked how they introduced the fruit flavours. I’ve been using the mango one. Hope they introduce more fruit flavours soon. So overall a good experience, product works well, i felt healthy after consuming, and value for money. Goes Well With: Water.
