My 3 girls enjoy all the flavors in the variety pack. I like that it comes packaged in a sturdy cardboard box that easily stands up in the refrigerator - rather than a plastic pouch - for cool treats on a hot day. There's nothing not to like, although I know that when the floofs share a Churu, they wish there was more than just 14g in a single sleeve. They want Churus the size of giant pixy stix!

When you open the package, our cats run to get it. They absolutely love it. I realize it is just a snack and doesn't replace their normal food. Sammy is particular and will come from wherever he is once he hears it being open. Suzy jumps from the floor to get it. She will even eat it out of the packaging. It seems to digest well with both cats. I constantly buy it as I cannot take a chance of running out. However, please know it is very expensive.

So happy to have the giant 60 pack with chicken free options!We have an IBD/chicken allergy cat who goes nuts for churu but was a bit bored with some of the flavors of the smaller packs. Bonito flakes is the all time winner in the house and all our cats become feral beasts when the churu comes out, they love it.Perfect for when I have to give meds/pills, just glob a bunch on my finger with a pill and it's practically inhaled without a second thought. Great training treat too.
My Babybel loves this treat! it's pricey but less expensive than other 'lickables', and my girl LOVES them. When she wants her 'treats', she comes to me and starts rubbing her face against mine purring loudly. When I ask: 'Treats?', she rubs my face even more and begins drooling...dripping all over me. I don't give them to her every day, and I only give her 1/2 of the tube when I do. She walks away very satisfied and makes herself comfortable on her blanket at the foot of my bed. The extra cost is well worth the love of appreciation she gives me in return. DEFINITELY recommend!
Taylor is a community cat in a colony of cats I feed here in SpaceCoast Florida. I was unable to give her Churu one day due to storms here. I was given some by a local cat colony caretaker and realized immediately that CHURU is the way to win over almost any cat out there! I have been giving them out and telling everyone to buy them! It is now a must have for every cat owner and those kitties labeled Feral that need extra bribes sometimes! Taylor in the picture is a sweet Tabby at Brevard Hope Cat Rescue who I was able to get into there after seeing she is the best companion and also a churu guru who one time went into some sort of depression where she wouldnt eat and I realized it was because I was rushing and forgot her churu! Realizing this, I sent her first into the rescue and explained to the people there the biggest requirement is whoever adopts her MUST give her her daily churus because she seems to need it to survive! The one time I forgot?! She couldn't eat her breakfast and went to her little cat hideaway in tears ! I was worried all day about her and luckily found some backup churus and rushed there after work!Game changer! She needs a lifetime supply and furever home combined now!
I have 3 senior cats who are at varying levels of wellness. Sometimes they like their food, sometimes they just turn up their noses. This Inaba Churu, mixed with their current wet food, encourages them to get some calories every day, at least. Sometimes, it is the only thing they will eat. But again, at least they are getting some calories.
My cat, BoBo, gives new meaning to the word “finicky”. She will love a certain food today and tomorrow and then refuse to eat it for at least a month. Basically she’s impossible to please. I don’t give her treats but I happened to get Churu as a sample at a shelter event. She went crazy for it. No matter what flavor I give her, she can’t eat it fast enough. This is probably the only food she’ll eat no matter what flavor it is.
My cats are obsessed with Churu!!! They will ignore all other treats for these (and other flavors available). I did get some on my finger while squeezing it out, and not thinking, I licked it off (no biggy), and was surprised how salty it is. I guess that would be the only thing I would be worried about, but then again these are meant to be given as a treat, and not a meal. Love that it's purse meat/fish. I give my 2 each one in the morning, and then split 1-2 more between the two in late afternoon, and evening. The only negative would be the price. Would I recommend these? Absolutely!
Our 16 year old cat, who was a one year old feral cat when we trapped her, had a nail curve and grow into her pad. We took her to the vet to have the nail trimmed. She has always been ornery and has retained much of her suspicion of people and intolerance for being touched. The vet started to trim our cat's nail and our cat started a low growling.The vet asked the tech to bring an Inaba Churu to feed to our cat while she addressed the problematic nail. Man, did Pumpkin love it! Not only did she eat it with great joy, she ignored the vet while the vet trimmed all of her nails. That day, I ordered two cases of this so we can keep Pumpkin's nails trimmed. This product is worth every penny.
