it just straight up doesn't work, Mac says something about it being corrupted and windows wants me to reformat... The SD card I have is perfectly fine as it works in other SD card slots.

I was looking for this for the past few weeks, and it works amazingly good! You can transfer photo's in original quality from your SD-card to your phone in no time.

Bought this product. Works as specified. Both the SD card and micro SD card read well. Haven't experienced of any of the issues others have reported about SD cards not working.
This is a necessary evil seeing the new surface pro doesnt have a sd card slot like previous models
Small and compact USB-C Multi Card Reader that supports up to 5GB speeds which means I can travel with it and plug it into my laptop or PC anytime I need it. It works as expect and no need for any software at all.
I would give it 5 stars if not for the fact it can only read 1 SD card at a time, I frequently need to upload off both an SD and Micro SD throughout the day and this slows that process down. Apart from that its a good little unit with no other issues on my end and that’s with consistent daily use.
